They gave up 2 draft picks next year for a wide receiver, in a draft deep at wide receiver. And then they moved their only seasoned wide reciever for replacement 4th next year. Desperation can be good or bad. They had to do something, but my spidey senses say this was a huge gamble. I would love, love, love this move if JK was QB. EJ at QB may never realize SW's potential. And of course SW could bring out EJ's potential too.

I remember being absolutely giddy about getting Biscuit. And then Paup... Once upon a time free agents and draft picks wanted to come to Buffalo... Once upon a time, a long time ago. Now kids say all the right things on draft day. And the second they get a chance to bolt, they leave this team faster that a South Korean ferry crew on a capsizing ship full of kids...

The Bills moves over the last two days smack of desperation. Could be good, could be bad. I guess we will have to wait and see.

Not surprising. The slide begins before the draft. Then the number 1 draft pick will get turf toe and miss a good chunk of his rookie season. That Buffalo Sabres street goalie will be brought in after the fourth string QB and part time kicker gets injured. And the defensive coordinator will leave in the off season.

It was monsoon season here in the mid-Atlantic. We had hellacious rains for the last two days, capped off by yesteday's dawn to dusk and beyond deluge. I got caught driving out of DC on I-95. It was can't-see-the-car-in-front-of-you raining hard. The number of outright idiots on the road exceeded anything I have ever seen, including blizzard driving. I-95 was ponding water everywhere. Folks were absolutely driving well past any sane speed. Weaving in and out, locking up the breaks, etc. Crazy, crazy times. Most miserable trip in weather I have had in recent memory (I probably have forgotten a lot!)
