The Kings sure play a tough, smothering defense. Well now, game on -
Yeah, that is very convenient. And hard to believe.

ROUT!
-
Should have been. The Dutch are pouring it on.
-
Rarely do you see a goal tender get so fooled that he simply watches it go in without moving Here come the Dutch!
-
That was a great goal by the Dutch..
-
Goallllllll ... Dutch down on a penalty kick.

I certainly expected this type of response and here is my reaction to that. Obama deliberately sought out the Presidency knowing full well what Bush broke. He accepted the Presidency and the ownership of the issue. I voted for him knowing he intended to shut it down. Afterall, that was what he campaigned on. I also knew/know that political and real world realities change a candidates best intentions to what he has to do. He abandoned Iraq, telegraphed early his intentions, negotiated late for a SOFA agreement, and walked away without a safety net or release valve in place. And in stunning order, the place is collapsing allowing the Iranians to move in. This is a collosial failure across two adminstrations. I lay blame at Bush's feet for contriving and executing a war and I lay blame at Obama's feet for not having a defendable exit strategy and/or a reengagment strategy. In both cases, it is a travesty that has left the situation far worse than we found it. And before you throw the obvious question back at me what would I have done, the answer I have is I don't know. But I did not run for President, I do not have access to the Intel Community, I do not have insight into the State Department, I do not have access to the full resources of the Defense Department and he does. All I know is this is happening on his watch and the outcome will be his to own as well.

The speed at which Iraq is falling is stunning. Talk about a house of cards. Well done Mr. President. Well done.

I can't see John Scott surviving at the NHL level. If there was ever such a thing as a mark man, it be he.
-
Does anyone read that?
-
That's interesting.

That's all we are reduced to. Because if they tank a second year in a row, all we will be waiting for is the trade deadline, the lottery and the draft.

A crater in the road on the way to town might have helped.

For all the sacrifices the Coalition and US soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines made there, to see it slip into chaos is unconscionable. For all the sacrifices the Iraqis have suffered there, they must believe they are truly damned

I absolutely love this guy. That's "huge for Jesus" line was awesome.

From Wiki: Gunwalking", or "letting guns walk", was a tactic of the Arizona Field Office of the United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), which ran a series of sting operations[2][3] between 2006[4] and 2011[2][5] in the Tucson and Phoenix area where the ATF "purposely allowed licensed firearms dealers to sell weapons to illegal straw buyers, hoping to track the guns to Mexican drug cartel leaders and arrest them."[6] These operations were done under the umbrella of Project Gunrunner, a project intended to stem the flow of firearms into Mexico by interdicting straw purchasers and gun traffickers within the United States.[7] The Chambers case[who?] began in October 2009, and eventually became known in February 2010 as "Operation Fast and Furious" after agents discovered some of the suspects under investigation belonged to a car club.[1]

The NHL doesn't build 12 arenas that will essentially be abandoned one month after they are used.

I think Gaborik -
I think the term is comfortably numb.

Let's get it started. Let all the world see the colossial waste, fraud and abuse in the name of the world's most popular sport. 11.5B dollars down the proverbial drain to play 64 games. Ludicrous.

You don't think Cantor losing to a politcal unknown is not a big story? From my optic this is an earthquake. This doesn't happen in this day and age. The deck chairs have been shuffled in the Republicants pecking order.
