Some fans get blinded by height. More so if they are a defenseman. The evaluation of skill is skewed somewhat because they are a “taller” player. I could think of one poster possibly two that fall into this category. As far as comparing ourselves to other teams in the league … I would think the Sabres are currently pretty much in the middle, if not leaning slightly towards a taller group. or is Size not Height?

I like the MAF idea … it won’t take that much for him to sign here. Probably in the neighborhood of 8 to 9 per year. That’s if he’s even interested in joining a team where playoffs would be at the high end of expectation’s next season. If all he wants to do at this point is make a lot of money, the Sabres would be close to the top as far as what a team is willing to pay out.
