2-0 Sweden, Raymond. Lyon leaving high blocker open. Seth Jones doing a nice screen on his own gt.

Oops. Got my times mixed up. Missed the first period of Sweden USA. Highlights have favoured the swedes. Look slicker than the US team. 1-0 Sweden at first intermission - Joel Eriksson Ek. Minor deflection on the shot.

Current roster has 4 North American born players listed. They have spent time in EIHL. Not as many as I’d thought though.

Seems the Skinner hate is getting traction. Is he the most complete player on the team? No. But I don’t think the hate is justified. I think he will come out and surprise people under Lindy. I don’t think he is the the kind of player to be happy and sit in the press box. About 20 goals before Christmas. Mark it.

Article/interview with Granato in the athletic is interesting. Players talking about being pushed harder Fairburn adds: “As for how demanding his practices were, Granato noted they had 56 games with one day or no days between games. He said, “Your job as a coach is to push your team and create urgency. You’re balancing all the time how hard you can push”.” I think he came across positively, but also rather naive.
