Only two players on the US roster have more goals than Tage. A healthy Tage would help this team, probably as a winger. He needs to experience this, it would help him grow playing in games of this magnitude.

Dahlin no ice in OT. I am sure this sounds like sour grapes but Erik Karlsson is again on the ice for an OT GWG against. That's two for two. I guess he took away the pass, and Ullmark is responsible for the shooter, but the guy is a liability on defense, he always has been.

Sweden going to OT. They better play Dahlin this time. I though he had an assist on the first goal but not seeing it.

Ok, the Sabres organization and the Sabres culture is bad right now, but "Sabres Curse" is really a stretch. . ROR, Eichel, Reinhart, etc., did not curse their new teams. They won Cups. We have enough Sabres reality to complain about without making up new things.

Why are these ESPN guys so surprised that Finland is playing well? It’s a crazy message to think they wouldn’t, especially since they have a defense first hockey culture. These are All Star teams with 3 days of practice.

For Peterka you could modify the song “Labamba” by Richie Valens. “ Pa Pa Tuerka”, guitar riff, “Pa Pa Turka”, guitar riff …. and so on.

Overall Sweden got better as the game went on and they forced an OT. I didn’t see it but Hamilton implied that Karlsson was a liability on defense. I can go with the thought that Forsling is the best of that bunch right now, he is 28 and in his prime, Dahlin is still only 24. I would not trade Dahlin for any of the Swede defensemen straight up.

Game 1 of an All Star team, the coaches are figuring it out. Listening to Hamilton and Marty I get the opposite feel on Dahlin. He played well but they played him on the 3rd pair. They played Karlsson more and he was the cause for 2 goals, including the game winner. Karlsson is a poor defensive defenseman and they paid for that decision.

He is still moved to wing playing with Kulich. I think Ruff likes him at wing and so do I. He should also be a wing on USA if circumstances were right and he made the team. As it stands, the USA team has 4 nice lines with some good checkers to balance and compliment the scorers.

That because the owner of the Sabres killed his team while the owner of the Bills revived his team. Wait, no ... what? Huh?

I think Tage could have, and should have, been selected for the US Team. He is s PPG player and tied for 9th in the league in goals, despite playing on a really bad team. Anyone know why he was overlooked?

We can throw in a 2nd rounder for a sweetener if needed.

The BN had something about Vegas being interested in Alex Tuch. Hope Adams does not bite on more picks and prospects. Our top 6 needs more vets, not less.

My problem is I remember the old stuff way better than the newer stuff.
