Sadly, this behavior is not surprising as more and more people in modern times harvest our children for sexual exploitation and are becoming more publicly outspoken in defense of such practices. From power elites to common citizens it appears to be spreading all over. While I know the victim will never be he same I hope they can recover enough to live a healthy, happy life. Just sad.

I like Lyon, Ellis and Levi. If Adams doesn’t seize the moment and trade UPL in a package to bring in some forward meat, he’s a fool, again imho.

I hear ya, and I’d want that as well Tom, only, I’d want him to at least drive the net with the puck, not take the pass then let it slide off in to the corner. If you slow mo the play, frame by frame, you can see he took the pass then spun it on the ice which led to it creaming off in to the corner. Focus, just a second or two more allows one of those players to traverse back to toward the blue line.

I didn’t believe pointing out the poor play ability of a player necessarily means we hate them. The kid made a terrible play that lost them the game is all. Yes the puck slid in to the corner, but both players on the ice with him were down lower as well, Tage isn’t exactly known for his speed and that showed when he couldn’t catch ole man Tavares, he actually stopped skating toward the end of Tavares rush in our zone. And while Power took the risk, he completely fumbled it. Situational awareness should lead to focus, even at those speeds, the kid lost the puck, it cost us the game, it is what it is. But nothing said it’s hateful to point it out.

I addressed that 3rd goal early in my post. But I hear ya and agree. But Power…….blew it equally as bad if not worse.

Exactly. The Toronto goalie wasn’t put in the position UPL was. Not that I’m defending UPL, because honestly, that 3rd Toronto goal was all on UPL’s inability to make a clutch save, further bolstering the belief he’s not the droid we’re looking for. But Power just losing that puck after deciding to leave the defensive coverage while going in alone on the goalie was a massive mistake. That was the cause of Tavares game winning goal. If UPL is not put in that position or Powers simply puts a shot on net or god forbid, scores, the goal against UPL doesn’t exist. If your going to leave the back end, you better dam well be sure there is coverage of the hole you just left or win the game. Power is the reason they lost, UPL was secondary imho.

UPL never has to make a save if Owen freaking Power buries that one on one against the goalie instead of letting the puck slip off his blade and on to the waiting stick of a leafs players. Ridiculous, just ridiculous.
