  1. I was asking if anyone knew lol I didn't get a chance to listen.
  2. Anyone catch Joe Yerdon on TSN1290 this past hour and his "Sabres trade whispers"?
  3. If Buffalo could shed Sabotka and 1 of Girgs or Larsson I would like to see a Risto + for Ehlers and Trouba deal. 6 mil for Ehlers is a nice contract.
  4. Ehlers from Winnipeg, man he would look nice with the Sabres.
  5. I caught Chad's tweet. I take it Winnipeg isn't a potential partner ?
  6. lol, McCabe is going nowhere, he'll be re-signed here in Buffalo to be sure. Vesey for McCabe, I laughed so hard I pissed all over my depends lol
  7. No recollection would have been "who"? Which is what I felt like saying to begin with ?
  8. I remember our interest in him what was it, 2, 3 years ago? Didn't we give up a pick for his rights and he didn't sign here? Not that it matters any, that is just how I remember him, I haven't seen him play but only against the Sabres. Any info on him like his speed, does he check well, is he a two way forward, a grinder, a pest?
  9. As can be clearly seen from the stats below, there is very little to non-existent progression on the score sheet for Nylander when you view his goals/points per games played per AHL season. They remain pretty steady across those three seasons. Which indicates he's leveled off, at least at the AHL level. For example, his first season, being so young, new to the pro game, can be understood, but the next 2 AHL seasons, 51 and 49 games respectively, his goal totals of 8 and 12 as well as his point totals of 27 and 31 respectively are on the same plain roughly. I don't see the significant progression your speaking of, even the numbers you show are not significant in the least. You have your view on him, I have mine, but once again, here are the numbers I am looking at. Rochester Americans AHL 65 10 18 28 -24 6 | Sweden U20 (all) International-Jr 8 5 9 14 7 0 | Sweden U20 WJC-20 7 5 7 12 7 0 | 2017-18 Buffalo Sabres NHL 3 1 0 1 -3 0 | Rochester Americans AHL 51 8 19 27 3 10 | PLAYOFFS 3 0 0 0 -1 0 Sweden U20 (all) International-Jr 7 1 6 7 3 2 | Sweden U20 WJC-20 7 1 6 7 3 2 | 2018-19 Buffalo Sabres NHL 12 2 2 4 -4 4 | Rochester Americans AHL 49 12 19 31
  10. Maybe your correct, hard to say really. But in my response, if you took the 2 seconds to notice, I guessed I was hoping he was a late bloomer then went on to say why I understood some were skeptical of him. I to would like to see him given an opportunity in training camp and preseason.
  11. Some players are late bloomers, I guess I'm hoping that is what Nylander is. But I do completely understand those who are more than skeptical. After all, 28, 27 and 31 points in 3 seasons in the AHL is not exactly screaming progression enough to warrant NHL ice time.
  12. Everything in this post has me seeing red except that last paragraph. That one has me deeply depressed as I have lost all faith in Botterill as a GM. I'm also very unsatisfied with the Pegula ownership scenario, the honeymoon is long since in the rear view mirror, divorce is looking beyond tempting, but like a New York divorce court cynic I realize as a hockey fan that divorce will cost me everything. So like an unhappy spouse forced to stay in a relationship out of hockey self preservation, I wander through day after day in a state of depression wondering when it will all end.
  13. The entirety of the first 8 years of the Pegula's ownership finally peaks and culminates with a highly touted player winning both the Conn Smythe and the Cup 1 year after being sent packing lol More and more now, I think about PA and his early posts about the Pegula's, long before I joined here, I would read them. They were suspect on so many decisions, but this one will definitely go down in the annals of Sabres history. Bad trade? Oh yea. But, not the end of this story to be sure, as we continue to live in the basement of the NHL, we watch in pure awe as other players will follow in O'Reilly's footsteps to be sure. We haven't Suffered enough, as Reiger would tell us.
  14. I tend to agree, at the end of the season he looked to be much more pro ready. I'd like to see him as a top 6 winger, hope the kid really comes in to camp with Olofsson and they show they are ready.
  15. And hence why each of them make more than Skinner.
  16. I do not disagree with your assessment here. But...……….. Risto at 5.4 mil for 3 more seasons, given his point production, is, in my opinion, a worthy offensive D man. I would prefer they get a shutdown LD to ride with him on the 2nd pairing. Who that might be and what it would cost to get him is a conversation worth having maybe, no? Also, while we are discussing D, RHD's Risto, Bogosain, Montour, Nelson, LHD's Dahlin, Scandella, McCabe, Hunwick, (Pilut down in the AHL as of now) There are of course a couple of 21/22 yr olds in the AHL that may show a push, we just never truly know. But, when I look at those listed that have actually played more than a handful of NHL games, and this is just my take is all, but Scandella and Hunwick would appear to me in any event, to be the odd men out. Leaving an opportunity to hunt down a shutdown LHD to partner with Risto. I am not overly familiar with players reportedly available such as Trouba or Ceci or Honka, but here is a list I found that may provide the type of D man/D men we could possibly need. 17. I like Skinner at this price for 8 years. His skating acumen and even strength goal production should be able to roll up to his mid 30's I would hope.
  18. Well, looks like this is the make or break moment for Botterill. Need a new head coach, need to revamp the roster, need to get decent returns on the two 1st rdr's either by selection or trade(s) and need to see marked progress in current prospects development. Something has to give I'd surmise. As it stands now our off season looks to be an active one imho.
  19. This had nothing to do with Buffaluck. It does however, have everything to do with Botterill's GM decisions. Unless our GM can pull off a miracle, and using his decisions to hope for that brings 0 encouragement, this team is most likely to finish bottom 10 yet again. Just a complete embarrassment at this point.
  20. I choose to ignore your posts because I don't believe any of them. Oh, and by the way, the Party's didn't "switch" as you and LTS propose. The Republicans are still lying cheats of the the public trust, and the Democrats are still oppressors of the people. Your "FAKE NEWS" narrative doesn't fly this way, and not the least bit sorry I say that. I've traveled this nation, as I said, extensively. Lived in 36 states, much of what you post is garbage compared to what I've seen out there. Intellectually honest? Really? Ok. The Mueller Report is a non factor for me as far as Trump goes, it is however, going to be a part of the investigation to come, you know the one. Where DEMOCRAT OPERATIVES at the highest positions of Government attempted a coup on a duly elected sitting President in an ALL OUT EFFORT to deprive the Citizens of their right to SELF GOVERN. Your not even conscious to what just transpired, and what is about to come. Lynch, Yates, Comey, Strozk, Page, McCabe, Clinton, Clapper and Brennan to name a few. I wouldn't be surprised in the least to see Obama's name in there, since you know, Page's text about "the White House is handling this" over the FISA situation Is in black and white. Makes what that scumbag Nixon did look like a day care park. Some time, you should read the Federalist Papers, the personal writings of the founders, and the framers, the Articles of Confederation, the early Supreme Court decisions, up to 1825 or so. They will "enlighten" your "Intellectual Honesty". I said, a fire arms violation. That alone, is felonious. There are no misdemeanors with fire arms.
  21. He was arrested for fire arms violations.
  22. You have to actually witness them crossing the border illegally, I.e. not an actual "portal of entry". But yes, it's called a citizens arrest. Its actually Constitutional and the left will lose the legal battle ultimately. The very reason illegals are coming across illegally, then turning themselves in to authorities is specifically due to Obama era policies on Asylum. Once the precedent was set they could not only stay while their case is being reviewed, but they must be released and report back for a hearing at a later date, where of course, over 80% fail to report back. Once their in the nation and untraceable, actual American Citizens are at very real risk. And we see it everyday, but Democrats don't give a ***** about your life as an American citizen, the proof is unfolding before our very eyes, bit they cry and whine about human rights, just not your rights, especially if your a Caucasian male American citizen. Democrats, the most racist group I know, historically accurate, the founders of the KKK, tried to destroy the nation to keep slavery, tried to further oppress with Jim Crowe Laws. They will lie to your face about it, just like the immigration disaster that is unfolding now. I see they've finally come around to admitting it is indeed an actual crises, but, did you notice, Trump says send them to sanctuary cities since Democrats refuse to legislatively act, and IMMEDIATELY you see these Lefty snob Democrats say "YOU CAN'T DO THAT"! "NOT IN MY BACK YARD"! The hypocracy would be beyond laughable, if the tragedies they foster to actual citizens weren't so profoundly and deeply sad. They've created an "every man for himself" safety policy.
  23. So where do we go for our next coach now? AHL, Europe, wait for a 1st rd exit firing?
  24. According to Tavares himself, Boston was also considered.
