  1. I would like to put PA's name in the mix for next coach. Nothing says they are looking for something spectacular, and I believe PA would hold the players, the GM, AND...……………………..the owners, to account. PA for COACH I say!!!
  2. I 100% agree with the question as to why the other political party did nothing. But, it was the Democrats, not the Republicans, who put these loopholes in the Asylum section of the current policies. I fully support Trumps idea to ship'em all to sanctuary cities. If the Democrats, who currently control the House, refuse to act, then hey, all turns is fair game. But, it doesn't change the facts, yes facts, that it is a crises. I cannot believe citizens honestly are that uneducated as to not see this was coming. And yet...………………………...here we are.
  3. I think we should trade the pick for a coach.
  4. Thanks Brwando. It's much appreciated.
  5. No chest, back or stomach pains. But, she does cough, not regularly, but more than normal. She doesn't have shallow breathing unless she's moving vertical, stair cases, the southern tier short hill climbs. She's on BP meds, and a few others due to the open heart surgery. I will have been relentless on the smoking issue, but, I will redouble my efforts on that end, even if it means coming out of work and going right to Mom and Dad's house and crushing those smokes. I always expected a day Mom would go, but your never fully prepared. And in my case, as a child of rape, she is my world, literally.
  6. I don't know honestly PA. I am not familiar with who would keep them here and so on. I know this...……………………….. "If I ever get 5 BILLION DOLLARS to RUB together" I will buy both teams and build a 60 STORY TALL multi-function Ice Rink and Domed Football Stadium ON THE LAKE FRONT in Buffalo. So...……………...at least we have that going for us ?
  7. Brwando, I'm on the phone with her now. She went in for an x-ray on her chest for lung cancer, she doesn't. In the x-ray, they discovered the Aneurysm. She has COPD, emphysema, apparently this was a scheduled visit and the technician and physician told her she had an Aneurysm "in her stomach". Mom's words. Mom and Dad are awaiting insurance to approve the further testing. This was on April 2nd, they told her Monday, April 8th.
  8. Thank you Brawndo. They discovered it in a routine checkup appointment. I can get further information. She goes to the medical building over on North French, by Niagara Falls Blvd. Ironically, and I know you'll frown on this, as you should, and I should be chastised for it, it's my medical center, same office I believe, only, I gone once in 3 years, last year. 49 yrs old, I know, I know. But, in any event, the multiple conditions, and she still smokes, not a lot, but does, it's deeply concerning me.
  9. I prefer the Pegula's, unless one of us wins the lottery at 1.5 to 2 billion and buys at least a minority ownership, it's all we have.
  10. Hey all, I didn't know where to post this, so, forgive me if it is inappropriate. I am looking for our medical members, I am deeply worried and would appreciate any information outside of what I've read so far. My mother is 72 yrs old, she's had quadruple bi-pass 4 years ago. She is doing well, but now has been diagnosed with emphysema. These aren't the issue however. She was just diagnosed with an Aneurism around her stomach region. Testing on specifics is still out as we await the insurance scenario to get her in for further testing and so on. My question is this, what are we looking at here? Is there surgery? Or, perhaps medication? I am in the dark in so far as what could potentially happen, life expectancy with a condition like this and so on, any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
  11. AND...…………………….WAIT FOR IT...…………………………………………..Low and behold, the MSM of the Liberal Left, the DEMOCRAT PARTY, Is now admitting what President Trump, hell, what many of us who have traveled the southern states and border regions have known for a long time, It's a CRISES AT THE BORDER...………….. Who would of thought?...……………………………..(my best sarcasm face) When you support policies that are NOT CITIZENS FIRST, don't be surprised when crap like this happens. It isn't as though, magically, ALL OF SUDDEN, hundreds of thousands to millions of Central Americans decided to FLEE war torn, crime ridden, drug cartel controlled nations. It just so happens DEMOCRATS TOLD THEM, IT'S OK, COME ON IN, WE HAVE A PLAN...…………………… And now, MORE CITIZENS LIVES WILL BE LOST, more resources will be overwhelmed. BUT HEY, SOME OF YOU DON'T GIVE A *****, JUST MAKE IT HAPPEN YOU SAY, F THE USA, F THE WHITE MAN YOU SAY. And here is your precious MSM now clearly stating it's a crises. I just shake my head at the pure stupidity.
  12. I'm going with the chicken bone one, anyone have a "Bettman swallows the Bone" meme?
  13. "It's a situation where he's a candidate to be coach" ~ The conversation in Jason Botterill's mind......
  14. Pefula's have already proven time on contract isn't an issue. They did that with Bylsma. The franchise looking like it doesn't know what its doing? They would be hiring a coach. To much emphasis on the $ and term. It won't affect the club in the least bit on that end imo.
  15. As I stated, I don't believe he is there at 7. And I agree, both Zegras and Caufield are smaller. But I believe Turcotte is going 4, 5 or 6.
  16. Another small bodied forward, no thanks.
  17. Tied to him? If the contract is terminated and bought out we are no more tied to him than a bee that flew through the yard, and moved on with some pollen. As for looking like idiots, it's not our money, it's the Pegula's, it doesn't effect us one way or the other. The guy is a coach, money and term are semantics at this point, if you don't like the choice, feel he's not the right fit, fine, but don't use the contract as some sort of crutch to say it just isn't right. The contract has nothing to do with that.
  18. I don't see why anyone would get their panties in a bunch over a coaches contract offer. It's not like it's on the salary cap. It's Pegula's money, if they wish to spend, then who is anyone to criticize them for doing so? I mean really, that's like telling one or all of their family they can't wear socks, or certain shirts or some crap. It's a contract, it's their money, if true, let them spend it. A contract can be bought out if it doesn't work and Pegula's have already proven that. Complaining about this is laughable to be honest.
  19. I don't think Turcotte makes it to 7, and even if he did, he is most certainly not what the Sabres need, another small bodied player. I don't even think he's on the radar to be honest. Dach most likely won't be there either. I see Cozens, Zegras, Caufield or Boldy as the realistic choices for the Sabres.
  20. Guess it depends on who is there at 7. Krebs, Dach, Cozens, Turcotte. I believe one of these guys will be there.
  21. ok, so who we taking at 7th lol
  22. What are our chances, 8.5% at 1st over all? I would chuckle if we won it.
  23. So where did we land? 5, 6, 7 or 8?
