I really hadn't closely watched the Bills since that 3rd Super Bowl loss. They won today, and are now 5-1 which is great news. I am not convinced in the least on Josh Allen however. And for very good reasons. He appears to have the following issues: he cannot connect on the long ball but once every 50 attempts it seems, he has a real problem leading receivers when he throws the ball and the are in motion, it appears he is not learning he can throw the ball away, he's still leading with his upper body when he has to run the ball exposing himself to possible injury, he doesn't seem to grasp the fact that he doesn't have all the time in the world back in that pocket and lastly, although he avoided it today, a couple of those throws could have been picked off that he didn't need to throw. This was Miami, and quite honestly, Allen was struggling. While he is still under 2 seasons worth of games, it 8s my early opinion he's not the droid we are looking for.

Overall, defense is looking decent, after those 2 shots in the first tight in the slot they shut that lane down, just hoping SJ doesn't connect on one of those crisp cross ice passes dot to dot. And Jokiharu, just, wow. We got this kid for Nylander? WTH? Chicago with their defense and they gave this kid away for a magic bean? Hey man, no complaints here, but if I were a betting man, someone up in that BlackHawk front office is getting that top shelf "Snow Cone" blend from Colorado in the mail...………. Go Sabres!

I would hope so. Any chance you asked if they have a plan cap wise when Montour comes back?

With Borgen looking promising, and Nelson as current RHD Depth does that mean we may move Montour to get what we need on RW? I can't see Bogo as a desired acquisition for teams and Miller and Jokiharju look solid so far.

I would be very interested to see the analytic stats for Henri Jokiharju to date. I don't believe he's going anywhere based on his play to date, granted, small in size. But still, I think the stats, analytics and contract cost/control are going to be significant factors to him going nowhere. I'm new to the analytics side of it, just reading on it in the past year or so, but people are turning to them more and more I've noticed.

Just watched the Rayzor portion of pregame. He said the lack of response on the events from last nigh was addressed immediately after the game in the locker room and again in today's team meetings. Wonder what was said.

I don't see any harm in discussing trying to better the team. And judging by line 3's lack of production combined with Sobotka on line 2's wing, well, discussions to improve the club are warranted imo.
