  1. If Terry and Kim are belly crawling with a pink slip in full on arena camo tonight, I would actually consider this game a victory.
  2. Yep, you have me, mine was from San Diego, She's down in Fayetteville, NC now, and she wasn't a sports fan at all. She was a slender Ms. Hawaiian Tropics winner (1988). Ya, I know, I know, beauty is only skin deep, but man, I was 19, SAR Swimmer, Navy, she had such a freaking body, GOOD GOD, I'm talking instant SCHWING!!!! here. Lesson learned........
  3. I agree. Housely was no better, neither were the ones before him. Honestly, the last good coach Buffalo had was Lindy Ruff, and I hear he's still available for a head coaching position.
  4. Unfortunately. But, on a positive note, she's not in WNY, I am, therefore, all is right with the world 😉
  5. Let me crack another beer open, I'll get back to ya 😄
  6. This is the most active I've been in a game day thread, i'd like to think I'm contributing to the conversation, having fun, enjoying the games, but the truth is I've become what my ex-wife was like for a good number of our years, a whiny bitch on a never-ending blood letting fest.
  7. Agreed completely. It isn't happening.
  8. Perimeter play on the PP, why do they not try the center?
  9. Lazar is going to score.
  10. Ya, something ain't right with the kid. He's not as aggressive, he doesn't appear to have the confidence carrying the puck out, he's often trailing back when in the O zone instead of standing firm and one thing I have noticed, other teams are targeting him for physical play a great deal more this year, maybe it's just me, but they seem to in any event.
  11. And on a well coached team, I'd agree.
  12. Ya, but, we got Ryan Johnson, member of the World Juniors Champion USA team as well. 😉 I said the same thing about Eichel, so far, I've got a "real and a good, but not a real, real good" and he was taken 2nd over all 😉
  13. Eichel has just been a turnover machine, and it's been going on for 2 or 3 games now. Not a good look.
  14. I expect my world renowned financial background coach to have done due diligence on what the issues were in Buffalo, what went wrong, before taking the job and addressing those issues. I expect the new GM, who's been here and took over while these issues were on going to actually address the issues, even through a pandemic. Other teams have made trades, have acquired talent in positions of need, he can to. So, in conclusion, I expect my management team and coaching staff to actually manage and coach a successful product by means of identifying the issues at both levels and correcting them. That, has not happened here.
  15. And so I say, again and again and again, puck possession, intensity, puck possession intensity, puck possession, intensity, that is all on coaching. The Sabres are in trouble this season already, I see 0 reasons for Eichel, Reinhart, Risto, Hall and more than several others desire to be here. The Sabres organizations first and second rebuild attempts are complete failures, and I'm pointing directly at management and coaching, the talent is here.
  16. Really not a whole lot of change. Hall, Reider, Sheahan and Eakin in, no goalie upgrade, same defense, same coaching where puck possession, intensity is not stressed. It shows. We've been bad for years, nothing really has changed.
  17. Puck Possession is everything. As we witness, yet again.
  18. Staal sighting......... scouts, SCOUTS!!!!!!
  19. Puck possession and intensity continue to be an ongoing issue in this organization. I am in honest awe of just how bad this team has sunk in to the depths of suckatude.
  20. Sabres 1 Caps 0 Puck bounces off skinners knee and in.
