  1. I think the title is backwards. It should read: "Have the Sabres done a disservice to WGR" 🤣
  2. Must be slim pickings in the 2 dollar video bin at the dollar store this morning. Adam's has seen all the movies already.
  3. Judging by the results thus far in the season it should be abundantly clear it's not a positive, if indeed, players wanting no changes is the case.
  4. Ya, I saw it lol, have no idea if any of these guys would help though, why I look for posters such as yourself input on these matters.
  5. I error on the side of Contemts thoughts here, maybe not as harshly. This "upsetting the chemistry" train of thought is rather baffling however. If you think about it objectively for a moment, not wanting to divest in the current roster make up, a known make up that is falling short of putting the team in position to advance, while having one of the teams star players attempt to appeal to a fan bases loyalty and spend money to show up to games, an overwhelming number of which they once again fail to perform in, is really quite stunning. Truly it is. Especially given what this fan base has endured well over a decade now. The objective of a seadon is to make the playoffs, if it's for any other reason, say for example, a review of what you have to work with, or an assessment on need or to gage roster development, ok, that is understandable. But the goal should be a short turn around to that end. This fan base has endured now the longest period of time with no playoffs, where anything may happen. Make it to the dance, see what happens, isn't that what is preached sports industry wide? So I can understand, completely understand, Sabres faithful being irate. "Upsetting the chemistry" should never be set above the foundational reason you play a seadon, which is, to garner a chance to play in the dance for a cup.
  6. If 2 players absences derail a playoff push in March, what's the reason? It isn't due to their absence at the 3/4'qtr mark of the season, it's because the team didn't perform well enough for that first 3/4'qtrs of the season while those players were in the line up to weather the storm of that last qtr without them. In short, they aren't talented enough through the roster, they don't have enough depth through the roster. That is on Kevyn Adam's and his staff to identify the shortcomings and correct them, and he's had more than ample time to do so. Does this mean he's failed? No, but, and I may be in the minority here, but I'm not impressed to date with his management teams ability on several fronts, starting with that aforementioned depth.
  7. I'd watch the 1st 2 periods of last night's game, just not the last 7 minutes.
  8. Banana is still playing? Judging by Pens fans reactions to this, he doesn't move the needle for them lol
  9. A single Boo'er won't sway the view. I expected a crowd of Boo'ers to get me to stay the playoff course. Step that heckler game up 😜
  10. After that late third period thumping last night my pendulum is swinging in to the sell, sell, sell mode. If this is Okposo's last season as a Sabres, ship him off to a contender, same with a couple others.
  11. I'm waiting for the Kyle Okposo extension, big move, big move indeed.
  12. Well, good for you for standing up and claiming that we all know to be fact... 👏 Bravo good sir, bravo 🤣
  13. It's to be expected, what with all the players telling Stillman about Mitts gaming pad.
  14. He didn't bite hard enough, it's still attached...... 😀
  15. The guys aren't concerned about shame, they're all busy getting Stillman pumped up about Mitts gaming pad, cant wait to get back to Buffalo and letting Stillman know he can play, but he's low man on the totem pole...... 🤣
  16. UPL was abandoned, team should feel shame...Yada Yada yada
  17. Stand pat Kevyn. No reason to give up assets, unless it's for long term purchase.
  18. I've said that for decades now, yet I'm still here lol I remember well the night of no goal, after the 4 super bowl losses at one end of the decade and the Stanley cup loss at the other, I swore I'd never cheer for them again. I was right back at it 2 months later lol, my peers, acquaintances, friends out of state tell me my fetish is sports pain 🤣
  19. We can only support the teams, it's up to the owner to deliver the goods. I enjoy hockey and football, hockey more so, but win or lose, I'll always cheer for the Buffalo franchises, I was born and raised here, I'm only coveting what I know 👍
  20. Feels that way doesn't it. Buffalo does one thing really well, it creates a population of thick skinned people. Weather, sports, economic, if you were born and raised here, if you decided to call this area home, you get thick skinned or you leave or mentally lose your chit. It's either that or you join the rest of us with liver's of steel 🤣
  21. Pegula made the choice to tear it down and put people around him that didn't know how to build a hockey team combined with Pegulas impatience creating a revolving door of those same people. That's why we have endured this pain. And I'm not going to make excuses for Pegula, but he was a huge fan, you know he sees this and feels as we do, but he doesn't have the luxury of emotional outbursts. Although, after 4 yrs or so, he should have.
  22. I know, hence why I said they haven't been good enough this week. Sometimes your the bug, sometimes your the windshield, in our Sabres case, we've been the bug for 11 years now, what's 1 more year.......
  23. Our boys have just straight out not been good enough this week. Boston is a damn good team. There will come a time we will have their number again, but not today it appears. On to the next.
