Cozens looked pretty good and was a little feisty in Canada's dominant win over Germany. Germany apparently has a roster spot held for JJ should he become available.

just stop okay? You're tiresome and it's off topic.

It has definitely and the penalty calls in this playoffs show the league wants it that way, but he was throwing out John Scott and Steve Ott for his argument so that needed countering. Maybe this is the year it all changes, but Tampa had to add grit and size to win it all, St. Louis had it, there's virtually no cup winner that didn't add size and grit role players to get to the end. That's been hockey forever. Soft teams get bounced.

F'n Laughs. But, they have lost games 6 and 7 before so there is hope. Bruins are done. Staal shutting down Bergeron has been a key to that series.

Nice informative rebuttal. 5 stars. -
Always resorting to the dull boring memes, and you wonder why I find your arguments tiresome and repetitive. I think you've forgotten the last good roster we had and you've definitely forgotten the Peca.May, Barnaby and even Rob Ray years. So ridiculous to make an argument where you think anybody would be against "talented grit". Just silly.

He's been saying it for years, but whatever. I personally thought (before losing Saros) that they would make it a tough series and put up a good fight. They did play them close and beat them in the regular season but they've been trailing off last part of the year and without Saros they really didn't bring their A game. I thought it would take 6 or 7. Seems Washington Florida is that series instead.

"threatening". Kind of a dumb word to describe hockey players but whatever. Lee is a leader and provides a strong net front presence. You going to argue adding him to any team doesn't make that team better? We could definitely use that. -
You like to over exaggerate your points and push extremes. I've always talked about a balanced line up, but if I mention the word size or physicality at all you will snipe at it to try to make your point. Way it's been since I got here, and I imagine it's the way you will always be.

Florida damn lucky tonight. Just shows you how a series can turn in a few moments. Except the Predators didn't play all that physical in the series. I think it's clear they pretty much lost their will to live when Saros got injured. They knew they had no real shot without him and played like that for the most part. Yes, their fill in goalie played well, but that wasn't enough to reignite their desire. Also, to your ongoing thesis, yes, you need the talent, everybody knows that, but not just the talent, and the two are not mutually exclusive. Don't know why you can't get that.

League is, but there's always teams who are crap or at least underachieving who would think winning record first. Build a strong base with him at the helm. If this was last year 90% of this group would be for hiring him right away. I kind of hope Vegas does hire him. They would win more games and make the playoffs probably, but Jack gonna hate that style and all Trotz demands. -

I can only guess they want a change in style and/or type of play. Trotz has that D first shut down style that likes to play the 1 goal game. Maybe they feel the league is moving to a more open offensive style (which it sort of is) and they want that high flying offense. idk but I bet he gets another job fast if he wants one. -
Lots of big game 5's coming up. next couple days going to be fun.

There were too many penalty calls all over today. It's playoffs, let 'em play! Laughs lost all is well.

That's fair. Can't argue that one. Bergeron showed why he's one of the best leaders in the league and the ultimate warrior. Guy is leaking from the side of his eye and he's by the bench trying to stay on the ice for the final 25 seconds of the period rather than heading to the dressing room. Ref had to make him go. That's grit. I know lots of you guys hate the Bruins, but that was a great true playoff hockey game. I think Carolina will still win the series but Bruins not going away easily.

I agree they are both past their prime and over priced but when I heard this it also struck me, when we drafted Dahlin didn't he say that the player he admired most and wanted to be like was Karlsson? I seem to remember that so got me thinking maybe? Would they pair well and would it perhaps elevate Dahlin to star level? idk, but if they wanted to move contract and the price was right I'd consider it.

Playoff hockey. You could always try figure skating if you prefer something gentler 😉 I think there's a real possibility Tchachuk and Klingberg don't like each other 🙂 Pittsburgh almost blew that 4-1 lead but ya, E-Rod. Go figure.

I'm not over estimating Dreidger's value, but I think Seattle would not give him away easily. They will want a scoring forward in exchange. So I'm just thinking if contract talks are far apart that might be the guy. As I said, I wouldn't make that deal myself. Husso is younger, agreed, but the body of work is small. I believe Liger wrote give him a ton of money, and that's the idea I question. Big money and/or term on Husso is not a sure thing and could backfire. Comrie's a gamble too imo. Might be worth taking, but I think I lean more to a relatively sure thing like DeSmith. 3 years to share the load with UPL until either UPL takes it or Levi/Portillo makes him obsolete. Somebody like that.

Well he does seem to be doing the redemption thing that Murray hoped he'd do here but I doubt there's any danger of a Conn Smyth as I doubt very much Edmonton gets anywhere near the final.
