This. Way too soon to be saying "time to put ERod in for Vesey" RKrug (there's a new one ? ) has seen something in him, and he deserves more than 3 games to make it happen. Let them continue their chemistry development. That line has scored goals! Same goes for Sobotka. That line has potential. Let them really gel and see what they can do.

I don't know what Housley was like in the locker room or at practice, but from interviews, "cerebral" is not the term I'd use to describe him personally. He never struck me as that bright. Now, he may have stolen someone's playbook and stuck by it, and that playbook may be considered a "cerebral" system, but... Rigid seems appropriate, though.

I understand your perspective, but it also slightly comes across as a solution in search of a problem. All the decisions made led to a win. I don't care who was on the ice- the decisions made by RK led to us dominate the game.

I'm still convinced this team could have looked like this the 1st half of 2019 with a real coach. I'm excited about this team.

I'm slow. How do you reach that conclusion with this information, and what are the implications- cap and otherwise?

Probably when he centered Skinner and Reinhart in January for two games and was kept completely off the score sheet. Look, I blame a lot of last season on Housley. I'm optimistic about this year. If Sobotka's awfulness last year was largely due to usage, I wouldn't be surprised. Part of me is worried, as well. But I play devils advocate for now on this topic, out of optimism. I hope you know it's not personal.

It's actually better than the best season of forum darling Evan Rodrigues. Can Sobotka do it again? Hope so...

The nicknames keep coming up, so I'll ask: Mojo? Are you guys saying it "MO - yo" ? Joker? Are you guys saying it "YO - ker" ? I don't like the nicknames. These don't work with Scandinavian names!

I think I finally get it now. But why do they make the process that way? To keep it from being wildly abused by forcing the "overage" to clear waivers?

I understand the sentiment, but I think ERod and (current) Mitts are both two sides of the same borderline-NHL'er coin. Mitts has more upside, so they're throwing him (keeping him, rather) in the fire.

I hope with all my heart you're right. It makes sense, though. I don't think we should read much into this. You don't sh** on your own players before the season even starts- and it gives RK an out, too.
