  1. I think that is his season save percentage after those games.
  2. A little difficult to have a good save percentage with the amount of odd man rushes we’ve been giving up
  3. Interesting, considering the last 2 years, Thompson has only played better as the season has gone along. 3 points in 17 games January-March, 11 in 21 in April-May of 20/21. 14G 29 points in 40 games October-January, 24 G and 39 points in 38 games of 21/22. Each season so far he has improved as he went along, and he had started with 10 goals and 18 points in 14 games so far. We’ll see if he’s done developing soon enough, but it’s possible he still has more to show us.
  4. And who on the left side is better?
  5. Very happy to see Dahlin back on the ice. Now that we’re seeing these lines again, assuming we’re gonna see them tonight. Some reactions: I think splitting up the Skinner-Thompson pairing could be a good thing here. I think it could get Skinner going on goals. I like Mitts on the wing for Thompson, should help with transition, and hopefully help set Thompson up more and get Mitts producing at even strength. Skinner should do well with Cozens and Tuch creating chaos. Hoping Krebs can set up Oloffson, but I am a little worried about this line. Asplund balances it out some. Any line with Girgs+Okposo should do alright, hoping Quinn can continue to contribute offensively, and can learn some from skating with these 2. should be an interesting night.
  6. Last season he had a 1.54 GAA and a .952 save percentage in 32 games. This season he has a 1.53 GAS and a .950 save percentage in 9 games so far. No regression there, those numbers are damn consistent.
  7. That is certainly something different.
  8. Wonder if they play Vinny here on the back to back to have a fresh set of speedy legs.
  9. The athletics newest Power rankings had them 12th in the league, which was 7th in the conference (Tor was 14th and 8th in the conference)
  10. I would say similar skill set, but more developed. Better check down option at this point, as he has really quick acceleration and good vision than our other backs. He could also end up lining in the slots and points. Also gives us some interesting options for cook and Hines lining up in the backfield/motioning across. Also has some returning ability.
  11. If he recovers from the ACL, he could help in the playoffs. In 4 games (including the super bowl where he was injured early) he had 288 yards and 2 TDs. Not bad for a 2nd option behind Kupp. He definitely was showing up when it mattered most, and you can’t have enough of those players.
  12. Wild, we have 2 players beating him in points, and 4 beating him in goals. Despite one less game played.
