The dude plays with heart, how many Sabres right now can you say this about? Not many. He isn't the most skilled nor the best skater but right now he's one of our best all around players, this take that he isnt tough is just silly... He is willing to block shots, stands up for teammates, stands in front of the net getting destroyed in the back by defenders, doesn't always throw his body around but hit ecverything in site in the Canadian game, goes into the boards with disregard for himself to make a play, that to me is playing "hockey tough" , thats what I like to call it. Greenway is playing the way I envisioned him when he was first traded here.

I'm glad to hear you escaped the layoff Marvin. It happened to me when i was working for a GM supplier back in the day and then GM went through that government bailout. I was laidoff and the messed up part that kept bothering me is that I didn't do anything wrong plus i loved it there, the people were what made the job enjoyable to go into work every day and I never got that type knit group of coworkers like that job. Since that day I never stay stagnent in a job, if I'm as high as I can go or perceive I can go I move on to something else. I'm glad you made it though and wish you the best!

This regime has had 3-4 years together as a staff and the same effort problems are still on this roster. Adams, Granato and staff need to be replaced by legit coaches/ GMs from at least winning organizations who know what it takes and don’t reward them if they haven’t made the playoffs yet.

Greenway was the MVP for me in this 1, he was hitting everyone who looked at him wrong, some big blocks and that awesome block at the end.

He should never have been re-signed much like Okposo, this franchise rewards failure like no other.

Maybe, I didnt really notice it much last season because we were scoring so much it didn't seem to matter.

Because we dont have that many types of players... The only ones that I see in front of the net are Greenway and benson consistently, the past few games Okposo is finally doing that also but other than those players I don't see it. Tuch sometimes stand off to the side of the net which to me screams technique/coaching. Teach these guys how to do the little things right, that's on this entire coaching staff.
