Can I just say Dunleavy sucks really badly?

Armpit or not, being that close to the Adirondacks would make it a good place to live in my books.

My opinion is that IF they keep playing the way the way they are now, keeping them in Rochester past mid-season would actually hurt their development.

If they keep playing the way they are, I definitely would bring them up mid season.

How about Krebs, Peterka, and Quinn for the Drake, Eakin, and another JAG of your choice?

I realize my timing is off after that tussle, but is Hayden the worst player in the NHL?

I didn't know this, but this is huge. It's almost unheard of to go from AA to AAA that late and be effective, let alone OHL draft material. He must either be a late bloomer growth wise or he was late to start hockey but caught up on talent. I say this as a parent of a U15 AAA player who's hoping to go in the 2023 OHL priority selection. The top kids have basically all been the top kids pretty much since the start.

Not to jinx it but UPL is actually above 0.900 so far this game. 🤞

I got thinking so much about the food I also forgot to mention we always get there real early in time to catch the pregame skate. If you're real early the kids can lineup in the section by where the Sabres come out of the dressing room and get a high 5 as they come out.

Our family tradition is to go to Pearl St Grill before the games. It's my 14 year old son's favourite restaurant. The Buffalo Chicken pizza is tough to beat.

Based on his play last year, I wanted to see him get a shot in Rochester this year as a backup to UPL, with an eye on another NHL call up if he played well enough. After we acquired Dell, he there was no spot for him.

With his edges, hands, and vision he's a ppg player. When he's down low in the offensive end, he's always creating something a lot of times out of nothing. To be able to rack up what he has already from the point tells you what he can do.

I don't recall Hedman ever being close to as bad defensively as Dahlin. He just didn't rack up the points like he does now. Dahlin is worse than replacement level defensively, and there have been many, many 21 year olds in the league that have played much, much better defense than him. He's a forward pretending to be a defenseman. Put him in a position that comes naturally to him, where he can succeed.

He has elite edges (maybe the best the Sabres have ever had) and hands... Also he's near-elite at creating plays in the offensive zone. He is at or below replacement level at playing actual defense. He's a forward trying to be a D. Give him a few games upfront once Samuelsson and Laaksonen are ready. We will be better for it.

Dahlin is the leader of this slowdown garbage they're playing. He's not good at defense. I'll die on the hill to say he's a forward and not a defenseman.

Sabres have sucked since Hayden started playing in the lineup.

We have a bunch of scrubs in the lineup that have no other skills but fast skating ability. When they choose not to skate we're done!

Here's my May lineup for this year, though it could need tweaking due to me mixing up left's and rights by Olofsson - Mitts - Aspland Tuch - Thompson - Cozens JJ - Krebs - Quinn Okposo - Girgs - Murray/Skinner Hagg - Dahlin Joki - Power Bryson - Samuelson/Pysyk

I've been working all day and haven't had a chance to follow these threads too closely... But has anyone been posting any future lineups with Krebs, Tuch, JJ, Quinn, and Power? Holy crap... We have a chance to be good... Maybe real good... and maybe by the end of this year (though I still don't trust the goaltending).
