Great wins. Hopefully we beat Seattle who destroyed us last year. Losing Samuelson is troubling.

I’d be surprised if we see Samuelson again this year. That looked brutal.

Tuch is way better for this team than Eichel.

Brutal first couple of games.

It is early but personally I am just "meh" over this line up. Lots of work to be done. Not seeing special from Quinn, but it is early. Peterka another story. Dahlin looks like a number one pick. Mitts is on thin ice...lots of guys will be looking for his spot behind him. Thompson has been an absolute shell of what he was last year. Honestly I think there is still significant roster turnover to go. And sadly we seem devoid of any super star forwards, which regardless of the justification we do not need them, it is still nice to have and sells tickets and merchandise. Looks like we are striving to build a fast, attacking 4 lines of the same types of guys and win like that. I am not crazy about the future at this point as I was when I saw what Beane was doing with this Bills. You could sense it. I don't have that sense yet...but....it is a long season. Call me skeptical...

Although the score was close that was a complete mismatch. Especially the second half of that game. Nothing much encouraging to take away from that game. Long season coming yet again.

Yeah Mitts has to show something this year. Lots of talent now coming behind him.

You definitely can see flashes of talent in our line up but also their inexperience. We look exactly what we are: a young and talented team learning the pro game.

Our Power Play is not just bad… it’s real bad.

The good news is we don’t look totally overmatched against one of the NHL top teams. The bad news is we are on pace to give up what seems like 20 odd man rushes a game. Need more shots on the power play.

Goaltending got us two points tonight.

It will be a fun watch, but a few years away from making the playoffs. Still need a franchise goalie to arise and the younger ones to perfect their pro game.
