Sabres look idiotic out there in OT. My god

This is the 5th time in the last 6 games the Sabres have blown a 3rd period lead. Still don’t know how to finish in regulation.

lol whatever. I’m not wrong. Watch the games. If you think this team is hard working you don’t know what a real hard working team is. Watch hockey for 45 years and get back to me with better perspective.

Nashville has been amazing defensively tonight. Never once have the Sabres created sustained offensive pressure.

The Sabres have been outplayed numerous times during their 10 game streak as well as these last three games that are losses

The problem with the Sabres is they don’t have any physicality. They got by on their 10 game streak with luck, cute passes and timely scoring late. They rarely outwork the opposition. Their results were not sustainable without a far better work effort.

Bad loss. Bad Florida trip. Doesn’t get any easier with Nashville and Toronto up next.

Tampa is a top 2-3 team in the league. We did a good job of staying with them. Just too many mistakes tonight. Turnovers and lots of penalty kill time tilted the ice. Still promising considering where we have been the last few years.

Dahlin has been a turnover machine tonight

Sabres have been very very jittery tonight. Not sure if it’s from TB or the pressure of the streak. Tons of turnovers they haven’t been doing much of lately.

Pittsburgh’s speed and passing is so far ahead of us. Can’t wait for us to achieve this level. We are much better at this than the past 7 years.

It’s pretty much like every other home opener the past few years. There have been a few shutouts in there.

Didn’t say he was. Saying Eichel isn’t in either of theirs. That’s beyond obvious by now.

The problem is he isn’t a “generational” talent as he was touted years ago. Unfortunately Sabres fans expect McDavid or Matthews type performances out of him. He’s NOT in their universe. He will need much more talent around him for this team to do anything.

I guess the fans shouldn’t have booed the Sabres off the ice again? Give me a break. It’s WELL deserved.

Another season opening home loss. Leading to another wasted October. Leading to another... I don’t even need to finish the statement.

Amazing how that works isn’t it? Never seen a team so afraid to shoot. Been a problem for years. No confidence.

The Sabres have no way of changing momentum. They have no tough guys, no one to get things stirred up. Once they are down, it’s a mausoleum in there with little hope of it changing. Same tune for years now.

It’s something the Sabres do. Year after year. Pass up perfectly good shots to instead try to pass to someone else who never has as good of position as the original shooter. It’s the Sabres way. There’s a reason they have been the lowest scoring team in the league for years. Shoot the damn puck.
