Build through the draft? We’ve had top 10 picks for 5000000 straight years and they’re still *****. Where’s asplund? Where’s these other non top 2 overall picks? I like olofsson as much as anyone but he’s looking like a one trick pony and ain’t much in the way of home grown talent.

The forward group was abysmal last year. So ok perfect, roster surgery coming. They haven’t made a meaningful move in over four ***** months. How is jimmy vesey and Johansson the answer?? I don’t get it. The forward group is not good enough and for two straight offseason this was either not or marginally addressed. I had backed jbott up to this point but it’s on him now. This is year 3 and it’s obvious the forward group STILL isn’t even close to good enough.

We needed atleast two more Johansson type moves this summer. Everybody and their ***** grandmother new this team needed more offense and Johansson and vesey isn’t even close to enough. Is this yet another year they piss down the drain because they can’t score to save their lives? I like their D but man their forwards suck. Sobotka, sheary, Rodrigues, vesey, mittlestadt, okposo are all trash. Until we get more than 5 forwards worth anything this team will continue to lose. The same song keeps playing on the stereo. Either wake the ***** up and change the song or just put me to sleep now. I’ve seen how this story plays out too many times. ***** off. Good night.

That 10 game win streak is robbing us of joy this year. Imagine that 10 game streak never happens last year and I can't imagine what this place would look like right now. I'm confident we have the coach, D and enough firepower up front to be a dangerous team. It's not always going to be rosy and hemming the other team in their own end. Games will have ebbs and flows. Just keep winning baby!

I think its an excellent 'holiday'. My boys start talking about decorating the house for halloween shortly after Labor Day. Disappointed to see slightly dwindling numbers. Again, I think the weather is playing a roll around my neighborhood tonight. My complaint is you see less and less classic candy out there. This year we got zero: whoppers, buttercups, butterfingers, nerds, tutsi-rolls or those individually wrapped carmels I love. I think probably 25% of the entire haul is exclusively regular chips and Kit Kats. #firstworldproblems

You know why? Because Montour is ***** good. Those CF% happened while the team crashed and burned. If Montour was putting up those numbers on a team in a complete tailspin I can't wait to see what he can do on a team playing a much better game with a much better coach.

NHL.tv has been great in terms of quality for me but I’m watching through Roku. I also have full package and even turned a couple games on last night to check the scores and they were working fine. Streaming nfl games via DAZN (only Paid nfl streaming service in Canada that I’m aware of) is absolute dog ***** though. My complaint with nhl.tv is the blackouts. I know this is a rights issue but I would be willing to pay a little higher price for the nhl package and get every friggen game.

Jesus man. We're 16% of the way through the season and first place in the entire NHL in terms of points. Why don't you just enjoy the ride a little? Last year I know I know. This is the most fun I'm having since that dreaded July 1st.......

Also, I'm in another 12 team league and the top 6 make the playoffs. Top 2 get a bye. Obviously too late for this season but is there an appetite to increase playoff teams to 6 for next year?
