  1. Not sure why my quote feature doesn't work but I'm completely on board with you NS regarding those damn trampolines!! Neighbour has one in the house behind us and half the neighbourhood of kids show up everyday yelling and screaming. I let my great dane out to run around for a bit and they just try and torment her. Damn kids lol...... Also, great news about your wife man.
  2. If Florida wants a forward and not Ekblad then I really hope they do trade out. To WildCard, I agree that both Sam's seem to be rated fairly evenly but we brought in Tim Murray mainly for his talent evaluation and I want him to have the choice.
  3. Oh I know. 1, 2 and 3 would be incredible. Based on the depth of next years draft I would sign up for 3 picks in the top 10. Even if we pick 2nd, 4th and 8th or something that will set this franchise up big time for the next decade.
  4. Ya I agree it won't be much worse if they wait until after. Personally I hope they don't sign him at all and just take the 2016 3rd and pray that having a rookie goalie next year may lead to a down year. The big prize in this trade was the 2015 first rounder and I want that pick to be as high as possible. Likely they miss the playoffs? No but I would rather them have a rookie and someone like Elliott in net versus Miller in the regular season. You never know.
  5. I was surprised hearing ppl bash the Philly / NYR series, I thought it was a great series. I'm also pumped to see how NYR stacks up against cry baby Crosby. If there's a series I could take or leave it's probably Chicago / Minn as I don't think the Wild have a prayer. But you never know. As for my picks I'm going: LA Chicago Montreal NYR
  6. I'm still not sure if that's the right logic or not. You could still make a trade up with the Ducks using our Win 2nd and a 3rd if you wanted. If you ignore the proposed trade which may or may not happen you are arguing a (2nd) > (1st less 2nd and 3rd). Not saying you are right or wrong but myself I would prefer that 1st knowing I have to give up my 2nd (Wild) and 3rd to get it. I could still trade up again if I wanted using the Jets second and something else.
  7. What? Can you please explain that. If Miller signs before we are back in the first round again and don't have to trade anything other than one second and one third. That's better than trading at minimum two seconds to get back up there.
  8. There's a decent chance we end up with the Wild pick so we don't want them making it to the Conference finals.
  9. So who are we all going with in these Game 7's. I'm feeling Rangers, Wild and Kings.
  10. 4 would have been better but ya I'll certainly sign up for 3 seconds.
  11. Didn't realize we may have 4 seconds! Last year we had 3 and it felt like we were constantly picking in the 2nd round.
  12. 1. Toronto 2. Toronto 3. Toronto 4. Boston
  13. Does anybody really care about day 3?
  14. The bolded may be the understatment of the year. Going from 22 points to 75 would be unreal. I think Myers and Hodgson have shots at achieving those numbers. Ennis and Stafford seem a bit high but I guess they could hit those as well. I want a top 5 pick in next years draft (obviously hoping for 1) but I do hope our young guys progress. I just can't see them progressing this quickly over one season. If you projected Girgensons and Z's stats 3 years from now then I would be happy and feel it is achievable.
  15. And Boom goes the dynamite!
  16. Exactly. Why would they trade millers rights for a second when by doing that they would have to give the sabres their first?
  17. Blues are obviously a good team but if they don't resign miller and go with their rookie could that give us an outside shot at the blues struggling a bit and a slim chance they even miss the playoffs?
  18. I would think it would have to be higher than that? Maybe 21?
  19. There's always a chance he could be taken before dal colle but if he does I think it had little to do with what he does in that tourney. This draft is loaded with chl players that are not participating in that tourney. Dal colles 20 points in 12 ohl playoff games mean much more than what nylander does in the iihf under 18 IMO.
  20. I'm not confident they will take Ekblad but with both Sams being rated close to evenly, we can just take the other. I'd prefer Reinhart but I think Benett will end up being a very good player.
  21. Agreed. Never too early to start looking at some mocks.
  22. Ya that's what I remember. That's a huge fall from 6 down to the first pick in the second round! McKeown falling half a round in a draft that is far from deep on the back end is also surprising to me.
  23. What in the hell happened to Anton Karlsson and Roland McKeowan?? Weren't they names being thrown around early in the year for top 5 picks?
  24. Yep, untimely poor goaltending led to the downfall. The Gens even started their backup in the last elimination game. Dal Colle actually looked better in this series of them getting swept then the previous series in which they swept the Petes.
