Christmas music!
It's the beginning of November. Give it a rest already. Save it for the week before Dec. 25th and then end it. How many times must I hear the same damn music on the radio, tv, etc before I shoot myself and everyone blames it on marilyn manson. I'll make sure i buy every Christmas album possible before i do and then they can blame mariah carey, justin timberlake and the mickey mouse club.

How the hell did the Bills lose the this guy on sunday?!
Um, ok?

Finally, someone has the nerve to go after inkman. Well done, sir.
Actually, I wasn't going after inkman. He has his own issues, but he does have quite a wry sense of humor.
Hint: this guy has also been quite active on the Political Discussion thread.

No bumper stickers on my car at all, let alone a political one...sorry! :)
np. Just having a little fun, considering that the dates were coincidental.

Hedge fund managers that will not conform to regulations. Government better step up on this one.
It's very easy to be cynical of government regardless of which party is in power. Most of them wind up doing the very same things they preach against. (although reining in George Soros might not be such a bad idea after all).

I'm tired of dealing with jackass part-timers at work who do nothing but be miserable all the time and try to pull people down to their level of misery. If you hate it here so much, just frigging quit, stay home and be miserable there.
Misery loves company, no matter how much you try to tune them out. (This is especially true with one of the most prolific posters here on SS.)
People like that wouldn't make it through their first week of employment if they had to work for Richard Marcinko.

I just saw one from 2000! Lazy Mf'er!
You didn't by chance see it on Blue's 2001 Saturn, did you?

The 2008 elections are over. Take down your yard signs and peel off your bumper stickers - regardless if your favorite candidate won or lost. (Goodness! I'm still seeing bumper stickers from 2004! )

Duct tape and a nail. A lot lighter to carry. Carefully place the nail thru the duct tape and place on the ground behind the tire. and then, walk away. And stop putting that sprinkler out.
Even more handy advice from the Master of Duct Tape himself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5QFRSjWVTmY

Lack of freight. It's really hurting the trucking industry right now. If there's no freight to ship, I can't go anywhere.
BTW, are there any other truckers on this board?

The incessant yet pathetic media coverage of these upcoming elections. Yet, they don't make time to talk about the third party candidates.
Makes me feel like the Bender Bending Rodriguez in shrader's avatar.

What a complete waste of oxygen that guy was. Next time actually say something instead of swearing and throwing insults; it might actually make you credible.
There, another complaint for me, idiot windbags. You're free to speak your opinion, but be sure to back up your asinine remarks if you're going to make a fool out of yourself.
That was the one thing I didn't like about him: his swearing like a sailor. However, if you think about it, some things have really angered him.
I normally wouldn't be that brusque if I came out with a similar video.

Not an excuse, but I guess they figure that the republicans have been vandalizing the country for eight years and they wanted some payback.
Well, if that's the case, watch this guy.

I hate when threads around here turn political, so I'll point out that this post is not meant to be political. I saw a kid on the subway today wearing a sweatshirt covered with a bunch of Soviet Union stuff, the hammer and sickle, CCCP, and a bunch of other stuff. Then right next to all those logos, he's wearing a "McCain-Palin" pin. Seemed like a stupid combination to me.
Well, since you mentioned it, here's my beef. It's one thing when someone supports an opposing candidate. However, that does not give people against McCain the right to vandalize McCain campaign signs. I saw this happen in Okmulgee, OK; at the local Republican campaign headquarters in Lynchburg, VA; and on my own car!
These are not isolated incidents by any means. It's been going on across the country. I wouldn't do that to an Obama supporter, so why should they be so criminally brazen to do that to me or any other McCain supporter?
I'm curious to see if anyone on here can come up with any justifiable excuse for vandalism of this nature.

Free Country?
Used to be.
At least they got this gal out of here for a while. (Wound up being laid to rest on America soil  ).

John McCain. Dude, the war's over. Relax. The guy's got a serious case of the heebie-jeebies. I think more than anything, the reason he lost a slight lead in the polls and now appears to be heading for a pretty healthy loss is that people started to see an erratic character responding to the financial "crisis." Meanwhile, Obama is calm and cool and collected under pressure.
Well, my complaint is in response to your complaint. You can thank this guy not only for attempting to ruin our country, but also for killing several other countries' currencies. Ask the Brits. They know this all to well.
Why the US government doesn't deport this Commie nutjob is beyond me. At least the ChiComs had enough sense to ban him from doing business in their country back in 1999. Everywhere he goes to do business, he leaves behind a trail of destruction and millions suffer as a result of it. This guy has absolutely no remorse. AFAIAC, Obama is only his marionette.
Don't just look at the surface. Look at the root cause.

For all you truckers out there: SPLIT SPEED LIMITS! Man, I hate going through states that have them!
Ohio (they enforce speed limits on everyone in draconian fashion)
Michigan
Indiana (although my truck can only do 62, so they're technically off the hook)
Illinois (because Rowdy Roddy Blagojevich adamantly refuses to make the speed limits uniform citing safety reasons - in spite of the fact that the FMCSA has conclusive evidence that uniform speed limits are actually safer)
Tennessee (most metro areas because they listened to the green freaks about "global warming" - except for Nashville)
California (70 for cars, 55 for trucks. No matter how dangerous this is, it's still considered a rainmaker in fines in spite of the fact that CA has become such a train wreck of a state in every conceivable aspect)

i'm pissed that im writing a paper tonight instead of going out. Why did i have to show up to class and watch everyone else turn in their midterm paper while i sat there looking stupid. Then the prof tells me that i can get credit if i write it and hand it in via email tomorrow morning. what a jerk! doesn't he know i have better things to do that write this paper that he has given me 2 months to do?!?!
Good thing i used the family troubles excuse - vague enough to have no detail but serious enough where they care.
procrastinating :wallbash:
Unless he's reading this and knows who you are on here. Then you're in a world of #2.

True. I said pron because of your religious background. If it was Deluca, I would have said: "Back away from the buffet."
See, equally as offensive, ironic and uncalled for.
Whatever that means.
-
Back away from the porn dude... :nana:
Inky, that was uncalled for. You don't even know what I was uploading.
Trust me. You wouldn't like it.
-
Another complaint:
Having to stay up because uploading a YouTube video that is less than two minutes long has so far taken at least two hours and it's only at 36%. <_<

I like the concept, but just reading that site? You'd think everyone was a 'Internet Marketing Visionary' or something silly like that.
IOW, pure bravo sierra

Fluff ball recommendations on LinkdIn.com. You know the type... "Soandso is an experienced manager with the skill set to drive productivity and deliver on a tight schedule." What utter ballwashing. Why can't people say it like it is? I'd like to hear what most of those people REALLY think.
From what I've seen of LinkedIn, thanks but no thanks.
I'm not impressed either.

Here's my newest complaint. Not sure I buy their excuses when most of us here don't have that kind of money to profligate.
Talk about being addicted to OPM!!! :wallbash:
