Ottawa's in a world of hurt. They need this one. Otherwise, Alfredsson will become the Senators' version of Donald Rumsfeld.
I don't really care much for the Rangers, but someone has to slow the Thrashers down.

I wish this game was in Toronto. Because I wouldn't mind the Leafs winning.
Before your heads explode let me explain.
The only thing the Sabres are missing this season is that Monster Rival. I know the Leafs are considered a rival but they're not considered a threat. With teams like the Bruins and Flyers being the also rans something seems to be missing.
I think the Sabres are going to win the Cup. It would be a bit more enjoyable if the teams that prevented Cups in this teams history were the teams the Sabres beat in the Playoffs.
My Dream playoffs.
1st round Bruins
2nd Round Flyers
3rd Round Leafs
Finals Avs - just because they used to be in Quebec.

Like I said earlier in this thread, I've been listening to this game via XM/Fishstix game feed. People are still talking about the 9-1 buttwhooping we gave the Flyers a week ago -- and the Fishstix announcers are no exception.

Too bad his players suck and still lack heart.
Like a dog, Yashin has his days. However, he is so unpredictable considering that monster contract he received a while back. I guess it doesn't matter when you have job security like that.
The Fishstix netminders are hard to figure out as well. DiPietro sometimes doesn't show up, and Dunham will have an occasional "A" game.
BTW, Satan isn't getting any younger, and neither is Zhitnik.

Yes! He looks like a great defenseman at both ends of the ice. Why didn't St Louis sign him? Idiots!
Spacek was quoted as saying that he wished he'd been in Buffalo last season when he had the opportunity. The photo the Sabres supplied on their website after Spacek signed showed a rather grim-faced Spacek sporting a Blackhawks jersey. Take a look at him now and he looks like he's happy to be here -- in spite of the fact that he bore no grin.

Neither am I, but some of them are tan as well. I don't think they cross-breed their colors either.
