Not a bad point, but you still see guys deteriorate in this era much quicker than Brady. He's been on top, is currently on top, and will be on top for a long time. As much as it hurts to think about.

I'm talking in terms of pure skill. Clutch is not the same of course, but I don't see either of these guys failing in the big play moments that will eventually come up for them. And I don't think it's too far fetched to say ROR is that guy who can muscle this young team into contender status. They're not Drury or Briere or terms of clutch yet, but they are in skill in my opinion. Couldn't have worded it any better. His basic skill set is better, and ceiling is higher. Once those clutch moments come up I'm not worried about him falling short.

I second this. I see flashes in Jack that will propel him to legitimate stud status already, and ROR is better at both ends of the ice than Drury. I'll take these two over those two 100/100 times. Briere never controlled the tempo of a game like Jack does already.

We'll be saying in about Tom Brady sooner than later. I feel like he'll end up playing forever.

Let's not speak about Brady or Mogilny as though they're the norm. Those are major exceptions. I'm not going to blame my team for not finding the Tom Brady of hockey in the 6th round.

Lehner and Pysyk confirmed as being sent to Rochester for conditioning stints by Bylsma. Hopefully they return much sooner than later. I want Pysyk's zone clearing passes back and a real look at Lehner as the #1.

Love Kane with ROR and Samson, hopefully it lights a fire underneath him and their hockey IQ rubs off on him a bit.

I see some more bounces going our way and the team finishing a lot stronger. Kane hopefully finds his groove too.

My biggest goal for this team, and especially Bylsma, is that they realize you don't have to enter the zone with a dump and chase every time.

Well if the officials called goaltender interference the way the rule is written, that's a 1-1 game after regulation. 2015 brought a lot to this team that I'm really excited about, but hopefully in 2016 Bylsma learns you don't have to dump and chase on every zone entrance.

Alright ROR, breathe some life into this team and end 2015 on a good note please!

This is the only game all year where I've felt genuinely frustrated. Bad officiating in the 2nd period, and the Sabres look completely flat after a dominating 1st period.

Too aggressive a pinch by Risto, I like the aggressiveness but left an easy 2-1 there.

No cross check call on that blatant one against Foligno there? Or the Gionta trip? Refs are on a roll tonight for sure.

Especially when said touching causes the goalie to physically move. That was a horrible call after the review. I can see calling it real time, but seeing Ullmark slowed down and pushed by the stick doesn't get any easier.

Horrible call. Puck was covered and pushed out when he slid his stick under the pads, which also caused Ullmark to visibly slide backwards. What a joke.

Dominating period by the Sabres, but we need goals on the PP, especially a full minute of 5-3. And I like Kane more than most, but he is not playing well tonight at all.

I need Jack to shoot on the PP, like a lot of shots.

Sabres really controlling the pace of the game so far, perfect time to get the PP back on track.
