Come on, man. A guy makes one comment and you guys expand that into "if you're not a man of faith" you need not apply. Don't tell me the comments here aren't anti-Faith. I'm not here for church either but as a Christian some of these comments are offensive and if it were reversed it probably would be shut down. I see a double standard and that's my point.

Why is it you mention Faith and these people rise up with"don't push your faith on us" yet these hypocrites push their atheistic views and that's just fine. It may be difficult upgrading defense without upsetting your do not list. For the right deal I would trade anyone not named O'Reilly, Eichel, Kyle O, or Risto. My hard to trade but?????? Reinhart and Kane. Everyone else give me a call we can talk.

Out of curiosity. Are you a season ticket holder? Or were you one who gave up his season tickets? The reason I ask is that I'm not a season ticket holder nor have I relinquished tickets and because of that I would not advise someone else on what or what not to do. Please don't take this as critical because I'm not criticizing I'm just thinking I may think differently depending on whether I hold tickets or not.

Agree with this. Character issues are not things you can evaluate on film etc. but they're usually documented if it's a real problem. I'm all for getting people as soon as we can but we don't need a panic mode hire here.

I believe that owners have more information available to them than one person. Further, I think I heard or think I was understanding Pegula to say he's looking or experience. I have the feeling that the new GM/President of hockey operations,if Pegula wants such a post will be someone with a record of experience. I don't have the "Russ Brandon" phobia so many seem to be struck with. Whether it's president of hockey operations or just a GM I think it will be someone with a proven track record and whoever it is will be both praised and blasphemed on this board.

Getting a good coach as a lame duck (possibly) GM might be problematic.

Okay, I will give it a try. Been a fan of Bills and Sabres since both teams inception. The Sabres were run for their existence financially strapped from almost this whole time. I think Tim Murray made some good moves and a few bad ones. Most GM's do. The team is, in my opinion, better than it's record and the firing of Bylsma was justified. The firing of Murray I think was the result of not easy to work with, possibly not well organized and poor communication and control. I disagree that Lombardi would be a bad hire but I'm not promoting him. If he's hired I think there is plenty to support it. The team needs to upgrade it's defense dramatically no matter. In closing, I'm confident that the decision makers with these franchises know more about football and hockey than I will ever know or anyone on this board knows. Sorry but snarky, negativity on this board by some is like cancer spreading throughout a body at times.

I agree to a degree with this but I also think you can learn from mistakes. My hope is that they will and frankly think they will because I still believe they are fans that care. The Knox family were fans who cared but didn't have the financial resources. The Pegulas do.

A lot of fans on this board represent know it all attitudes that sit back in this armchairs and just stir things up with telling everybody what's wrong with everyone and everything except themselves. If they were to come out of the dark or their watering holes we'd find out what their huge accomplishments are. Not that great I suspect. Some on here are already criticizing what they were asking for to begin with. Please at least wait until something is done before your constant negative dribble proceeds. Man you are getting so old. Followed these teams since their inception and after awhile the fans wear things down more than the team performances.

I think you may be right. TM was saying he was also under review. In hindsight he may very well thought he may be gone. I don't think this team is facing completely overhauling the roster though.
