  1. The Jets weren't headed for a rebuild as evidenced on the return for PLD not to mention how many players said that they werent interested in a rebuild.
  2. Scheif and Helle both extend for 7 x 8.5m.
  3. Over, under, too much term, blah blah blah...the important thing is that he is signed and that he signed before the season started so this is done with and won't be lingering all season.
  4. Two limits of ruffies and a spruce grouse thrown in for good measure.
  5. My guess is he knows the cap is going up significantly in the next few years and wants either a short term deal around 3-4 years of an 8 year deal at a price that the Sabres aren't too keen on giving because he will eat up too big of a chunk in the first couple or 3 years of the deal.
  6. We've got a good number at 32 teams with 4 divisions. Why not move the Coyotes to Atlanta? Probably makes to mush sense/Bettman still won't admit he was wrong about Phoenix.
  7. Oppenheimer was really good. Peaky Blinders all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. JT has made 115m. It's time for him to retire and take care of his health.
  9. Looks 2 or 3 places too high to me. Hard to tell at this time of year though.
  10. I think Nylander is gone. Their mistake was what they paid Tavares. AM will stay and get 13+ but there smartest move would be trade AM for a king's ransom and fix a few areas of their team but that'll never happen.
  11. It definitely does. A few years back, the Jets had to put Mathieu Perreault on waivers before putting Little on LTIR. They were afraid someone would claim him. You gotta love it!
  12. The team still has to be cap compliant on opening day before the can LTIR anyone.
  13. Sens, NSH, Seattle and Buffalo?
  14. Trade Nylander.
  15. He was recently extended.
  16. I can't beleive Reeves is still in the league...knuckle dragger.
  17. All things considered, I am surprised at what Chevy got for him.
  18. Jets fans can only hope. I'd retain 3m and trade him.
  19. They had a deal to build a new arena and it didn't materialize.
  20. He played poorly at RHD.
  21. From the Sabres' point of view, it depends on how long and how much Helle's new deal is worth...5 x 9m...the Sabres should do it in a heartbeat. Helle is what you would hope Levi will be. I think Chevy tries hard to re-sign him.
  22. Me and 2 buddies hammered the walleyes yesterday.
  23. You spelled Bobby Orr wrong.
  24. Comments by Winnipeg Ice head coach James Patrick on Peyton Krebs... “The footprint he had on the organization in terms of culture as far as work ethic, coming to the rink everyday trying to get better, not blaming others or ice time, not making excuses, just accepting adversity and fighting through it, it set the tone for every young guy,” Patrick said. “He really set the tone for the future.” Krebs also taught his teammates valuable lessons off the ice. “He’d already gotten a couple of touches in the NHL, so he knew what it took to play at that level,” said Benson, a Chilliwack, B.C., native who was teammates with Krebs during the 2020-21 season. “He brought his habits back to the WHL. I picked up a lot of what he did. When you’re younger, you don’t really think about taking care of your body and what you have to put in your body to perform at your highest capabilities. That’s just stuff Peyton did, and you could really see that it translated onto the ice. He hasn’t really been injured and keeps his body in tip-top shape.”
