I think the Jets always play a good game agasint Maurice. It's nice to see... Also, Rhino is one of their top players and VERY important to the team. Why wasn't there any kind of sticking up for him/retribution??? Nothing. They are a soft team.

Two cents worth from an unbiased observer...I've been a Jets fan since the WHA so I know what it is like when your (talented) team isn't performing. The GM needs to get a starting goalie and send Levi down to the minors where he can work on his game and eventually start stealing games before he is brought up again. He needs to go down now. Comrie is the highest paid goalie at 1.8m so not sure what was expected by the GM at that position? Adams should get Saros or Gibson or Askorov or someone comparable immediately ... there is still 3/4 of the season to go. Gibson would be my first choice espeially when you look at when his current deal ends. If you make the playoffs, who knows how far you go? Give them a slight over pay. You guys have some young talented players in the organization, give them something they can't refuse and get a bona fide starter while Levi gets ready for the bigs. Comrie/UPL are fine as a backup for now...nothing more. One of them goes back to the Ducks in a Gibson trade? Not addressing the goalie situation in the off season and hoping Levi (or UPL/Comrie) would immediately become a starter was asinine and worthy of a firing in my opinion. I can't stress enough that Levi needs to be sent down and work on his game and get more used to the pro game. You need a good RHD too but so do a LOT of teams. I think D is the hardest position to improve on regarding trades. There's more than enough to fill the left side but a good RHD should be 2nd on the to do list right after a starter. The bottom six needs to be upgraded (with vets) and when the newbies start pushing their way onto the team in the future, some of the lesser talent will be in the press box/traded/moved down the lineup and that builds depth. You've got to be able to handle an injury or two and rely on your depth. There is capspace so this summer the bottom six needs to be fixed. I'd leave the coaching staff up to the new GM because I don't think the current one is doing his job well enough. With a starting goalie, this team makes the playoffs and they need to start making the playoffs. Good luck for the rest of the season guys!

He'd look good in a Jets' jersey. Thorny and I were bantering about a Mitts for Copp trade a few seasons ago. Chevy ended up trading Copp and a 6th for Morgan Barron, a 1st (30th), a 2nd and a 5th. Seeing as the 1st ended up being Brad Lambert, I am glad I'm not making those decisions. I would give up the same package of picks for Mitts though. Would you guys move him and a 6th for Barron, a 1st, a 2nd and a 5th?

Campbell on waivers. Holloway with zero points in 11 games. Evander Kane signed for 2 more seasons after this one. Last draft they had a 2nd, 6th and 7th. The draft before they had a 1st (32nd), 5th, 6th and 7th. Nurse at 9.25m for 6 more seasons after this one. I can't see Drai or McDavid re-signing there. It looks good on them.

Can't tell if you are eating sauger or walleye. We supposedly have saugeye as well....a cross between the two. I caught another 12 or so smaller ones again today and one keeper. Also, a 21.5 and a 18.25 inch walleye. Buddy caught about 10 small saugers. Two master angler bullheads too but they are a nuisance fish if you ask me.

Went for walleyes on the Red River in town yesterday afternoon. My brother caught a 18 inch walleye and about 12 saugers too small to keep. Our buddy caught a 25.75 inch walleye and a nice keeper sauger. I caught a goldeye that was close to 12 inches (master angler) but I didn't bother measuring it. Our buddy and I probably caught over 50 saugers that were too small to keep. The big walleye was released to grow bigger. Going to try again to morrow morning.

I think you'll see the attendance go up once the weather turns foul. Maybe sooner seeing as they are playing quite a bit better than last season, although it is only 2 games. Buffalo is here around my birthday and the kids wanted to take me but I told them I wanted a good rod for trolling...

Went back up there for ruffies for 5 days. Checked in at 3 Monday and went out for an evening hunt and got 5. The next 2 days, we hunted and got 26. The 2 days after that, we only hunted for 2 hours each day as we ran into some trouble with the Jeep. We got 2 on the Thursday (drank til 4am) and 8 on the Friday. 34 ruffies and 7 spruce. First time my buddy got his ruffie limit. We ate 10 of them while we were up there. Probably going back for a day trip next Saturday. Rained about 2/3 of the time. I love hunting when I have bronchitis...

Will you still think that way if Levi and the rest of the goalies shat the bed and you aren't making the playoffs? The Sabres need to make the playoffs this year whether they go out in 4 straight or on a long run. They owe it to the fans if nothing else.
