One of Eichel's strengths is not the wall. Lehner is pure entertainment but he's not consistent in goal. No real blame because he played a very good game overall but that last goal was ROR's fault not necessarily Bogosians. Risto and Samson disappeared at times. Girgensons needs to lighten up on the stick, he just plain flubbed the chances he had last night. The team definitely had their moments but it is still a young and immature team. The Habs got in their heads and instead of playing thru for the win, they went and committed some stupid penalties and paid the price for it. Never should have lost that game. Foligno is really starting to grow on me. He's been nothing short of a beast lately. Really playing well. Short handed goal was really really nice. ROR and Kane need another winger on their line. I'm trying to remember a better forechecker on this team then Kane, no-one in particular is coming to me. That was a nice piece on R.Ray. I hated those jerseys but my sister bought me as a present 1 of his back in the day. Not sure what the heck I did with it but its no longer in the closet. This offseason should be interesting because I think all this team needs is a top 6 forward and a 1st pairing D and we'll be fine.

Girgensons will bring the effort and maybe a little better skill and hopefully this will be his big chance to be more productive also. To see if he truly fits with the kids or maybe as trade bait in the offseason. Right now he won't bring squat but if he can get it going that can still change

Am I the only one starting to get uncomfortable with the constant barrage of lack of hockey sense, vision etc... with regards to Kane and no-one else??? I hate the thought of even going there unless it's an obvious item but maybe we can find a different term to use to describe his Direct (north-south) style as opposed to a more possession style.

I don't think there is any doubt about that. What is also so nice to see with this trio is the apparent total lack of a monster ego to tear it apart. Samson may not have the sprinters speed the other 2 have but it opens up so much for him (and all 3 for that matter) that his skill level just is eye opening. That move and assist on Eichel's 1st goal was nothing short of filthy. And the speed the 3 of them got up the ice on was almost lost in the amazing passing. Personally I think Kane looks at it like he doesn't have to carry that line he just has to do what he does best, forecheck, hustle for loose pucks and shoot. They'll get the puck back to him when necessary. I wonder if GMTM is re-evaluating his comment that no-one presently on the team is the future winger for Jack because it appears to me they found both of them.

Sunday's NBC pre-game they also spoke of how easy he made that play look. Also, wasn't it about a week or 2 ago most on this site were calling Bylsma a buffoon for putting Kane back together with Eichel. Now that trio is the 2nd coming of the French Connection??? I love how some good or bad happens to this team and the site turns faster than a pancake. The ROR injury is starting to look like the best thing to happen to Jack, he now thinks it's his team and the results are striking.

The team is definitely coming together but I think Ennis ends up taking Gionta's spot on that line You add Stamkos on ROR's line with Girgenson and wow that's a 3 line team right there. +1 Very good reply

Since I refuse to trust or go into The Bunker, Bogosian was a +2 yesterday. 5 SOG, 1 blocked shot, 2 hits.

Well here's a question, if we drop to the 8-10th slot in the draft, does Jonathan Drouin become a possibility with that pick especially if he proves worthy with his time in Syracuse??? I really liked the kid when he came out but obviously he has some issues to work out. Is anyone in this years slot a sure thing or better than JD??
