I like the Mitts line. Benson is a drop off from Quinn on that line but Cozens was starting to improve and JJP has been good. KO will have a hard time on that line, wanting to go north south while TNT goes east west trying to dangle through 5 guys. At least KO cares about D play. 4th line is OK, better Robinson than VO for that role.

It didn’t sound like Calgary was going to be able to re-sign Lindholm. They got a good haul for him, he’s past his prime. Vancouver is in the playoffs already but Lindholm could be a piece that allows them to go deeper. Can’t fault them for getting the jump on the other teams for an impact player. Lindholm is past his prime now so he may not be worth a long term deal.

Maybe Casey needed a break from the guys. Rasmus is at the ASG. I bet a few others are doing their own thing, TNT and Tuch may not go with newborns.

We got him, we got Matt Irwin back!

5 players have been charged for the 2018 Hockey Canada event

I heard 7 or 8 last year as well, not sure if there is not enough evidence or they have an alibi. -

Disgusting comments from people trying to sweep this away. I’d like to add that the girl apparently agreed to sex with the one guy but him inviting/letting others join in was where everything went wrong. Also, this wasn’t during the tournament, it happened in London, Ontario during a summertime fund raising event. The whole team was not there. -

Sounds like Levi is starting this game. -
They could use refreshed TNT, Tuch and Mule. Their health has been so-so all season.

Hockey Canada was the organization covering this up. The money they used to pay people off came from grassroots hockey families. -
Well, good teams often keep their coaches a long time but everyone seems to wear out their welcome at some point. The example that pops into my head are the Red Wings. They won Cups under taskmaster Bowman. He gets replaced by player’s coach Dave Lewis, who inherits a good team but fails to win. Taskmaster Babcock brings them back to their winning ways. Maybe poor teams do this more. A guy like Torts gets a lot out of his players but they get worn out by his methods. GMs then try to smooth things out by bringing in a “good guy”.

Many teams go back and forth between taskmasters and player’s coaches once they tire of one type.

How to retool the Sabres forward group?
French Collection replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
I don’t want to move on from Quinn. His scoring pace may be 58 pts but this guy has some upside. He would be higher than that pace if he was on PP1, where I think he should be,replacing Skinner. Quinn has more elements to his game than Skinner and JJP plus he can PK. -
Lidstrom would be a good addition. He fits the power forward profile. I am a draft junkie but I know that once again whoever is chosen will not have an impact on the Sabres for a few years. KA has to find leadership and grit via another route to get this team in the playoffs next season.

Like all utilities around North America, there is only one circuit running in front of your home that you can connect to. There may be options for delivery but they are all buying from the one company that owns the wires. Grid ties in Ontario are not the greatest. The transmission system is fairly robust but is geared to provincial supply. We have lines that tie into Quebec, Manitoba, New York, Michigan and Minnesota but they lack the ability to supply more than a fraction of the demand. Quebec could be a great supplier but they prefer to sell their huge surplus of electricity to the US. Many of those transmission voltages are not compatible with other provinces.

I am happy as long as I don’t have to watch him play.
