  1. I would give Strome a try at 2C for a year or two. If he can be had for Miller + a bit, I do it. Cozens can take his time adjusting to the league. I find it interesting that Dach is muscling Strome out of Chicago. Dach and Cozens were comparable in the same draft and in the WHL. Dach stayed up and had some sheltered experience but did not put up much offence.
  2. Other than necessities, stay the blazes home! LOL. I’ve watched a few of your Premier’s news conferences. Looks like a decent leader.
  3. I gamble and keep Dahlin. He is cheaper, has a lot of upside and I can have all the years of his prime locked up. Besides, I am expecting a Lindros type haul for him to support Rasmussen. lol.
  4. I grew up near Thunder Bay, 14 hours northwest of Toronto. I have slowly migrated “south”, now living near North Bay, 4 hours north of Toronto.
  5. Very similar story, just change Vancouver Island to Northern Ontario. Lurked a while before posting, my only social media other than following some hockey reporters on Twitter.
  6. Interesting concept, neutral site for all teams. Small city, great rink.
  7. Martin scored a lot for many years, Mogilny had only one amazing year. Gare was small but had tons of grit while being a 50 goal guy.
  8. He put up some great numbers and lasted a long time. I never thought he was as skilled as Perreault and Lafleur, but he was effective. He was also on some weak west coast teams and didn’t get as much recognition as the others. My visual of him is a skating fire hydrant with great hands.
  9. Perreault in his prime was amazing. Team Canada players he played with have raved about his talent in the best on best tournaments. Hawerchuk in his prime (Jets) was one of the best players after Gretzky and Lemieux. 6 of his first 7 seasons he scored over 100 pts.
  10. Following the OHL Priority draft online. It is hockey. I am an OHL season ticket holder. My son has played with some of the kids getting picked.
  11. People keep their distance while we carry those little bags of poop. Lol.
  12. We have two large dogs and they are getting way more exercise and attention than usual. We are sleeping well at night though.
  13. Hang in there. This our 14 th day. My wife is going out for groceries, she is craving shopping and seeing other people. We live in the country, so we have only seen a few people at a long distance. I am an introverted only child, so I have been OK. My son (14) is used to being in school, on multiple teams and hanging with friends. He is having a hard time with the social aspect.
  14. No one has ever escaped from Stalag 13!
  15. They need Simmonds from 10 years ago and sign him for 6 years.
  16. Sitting by myself in my sugar shack watching sap boil. Sorry photo is sideways, not the greatest techie as you can guess.
  17. Our tipping point was when I was working out of town and she had to shovel the driveway because her 4x4 couldn’t get out.
  18. Is that your tractor? Kioti or Kubota? I have a 27 HP Kioti. Not digging dirt here, still have snow on the ground.
  19. I love watching Forged in Fire on History, I would have time to forge a sword if I had the equipment.
  20. British soccer guy is great.
  21. Canada announced they were not sending athletes before this was decided. Australia was next to announce. I’m happy for this decision, there is no way there would not have been a flare up of the virus by bringing all of these people together, even in July.
  22. That’s why a lot of stores are out of aloe cream. We have gallons of isopropyl alcohol at work, I never thought about bringing a small bottle home.
  23. We have had a couple of cold nights, my son is skating and shooting on the pond while the dogs chase squirrels. Healthier than video games.
  24. Canadian government wants all residents to come back. Health insurance coverage ending is a big driver of the exodus. I have heard different end dates but March 23rd is a common one.
