Unless I missed the rule change, one Senator can't change the rules, only vote on what's proposed. I keep hearing this reference to 30 years. She was a Senator for 8 years and Sec of State for 4. That's 12 years in public office. Is being First Lady now considered public office? She advocated for health care, but had no official capacity to enact or vote for it, just advocate. Even if you inlude First Lady, that's 20 years. So now we're supposed to include First Lady of Arkansas? And if so, is advocating to improve people's lives going back to the '80's supposed to be a bad thing? How so? Allowing Americans to sue a foreign government over a terrorist act perpetrated by its citizens sets a bad precedent that will be turned back on the US. If foreigners are shot and killed in the US will their families sue the US because the government has not enacted tougher gun control? Will they sue because we're holding prisoners in Guantanamo without charging them and giving them a trial?

Regarding Iran she took the diplomatic steps to get sanctions imposed that even Russia and China agreed to, which forced Iran into the nuclear agreement. I agree that it is being over hyped. Trump will try to act presidential to appear as a reasonable option. I'll be surprised if he calls her Crooked Hillary or brings up Bill's infidelity. But I also think that most people are watching for the entertainment more than to learn about policies. But then the "group of undecideds" that the networks will roll out will say they wanted more details about policies. Most people have already decided if they are voting for one of them or neither. There may be some who can be persuaded to vote for their preference instead of staying home or voting 3rd party, but I can't believe there's anyone who is currently supporting one of them and will switch to the other based on tonight, unless Trump drops his pants or Hillary faints. I'm not sure what they'd do if both happened.
