This is a welcome surprise

It’s going on year 8 of his Shanaplan. It’s not that I think there is anything inherently wrong with him, it’s just I think Dubas is likely much more qualified than him to run a franchise. There’s been a lot of reports of internal strife between the two over the last few years as well. I think it’s worth noting that multiple teams were clamoring for Dubas to become available, yet I have a hard time believing Shanahan will have another hockey ops job after this. Dubas has done some questionable things, but I think this is a move Shanahan wanted to get another stab for himself.

Shannahan is definitely the larger issue at play I think. Surprised to see him sticking around.

This schedule sucks. I care less and less about the Bills the more they play other than Sundays at 1. It was fun the first season, now this is just stupid.

TBD is a weird place. Went in to look at draft coverage and they instituted a rule about “not tipping picks.” I’m not sure the last NHL draft I didn’t watch “live” while also finding out first in Sabrespace who we drafted.

The issue with the decline in church membership is that it’s created a whole new sect of Christians whose beliefs are rooted in whatever they feel inside of them, rather than what’s historically based and believed based on the practices of their prescribed faiths. If Christians can simply dismiss and obey whatever they feel what are they actually believing in? I would say that they Staal’s probably already ignore their own beliefs just fine, but I’m sure they are cafeteria Christians and what they are doing coincide with their beliefs just fine.

Maybe if people stoped picking Old Testament nonsense to justify their beliefs people will stop picking Old Testament nonsense to tell them their beliefs are nonsense. Until there is any continuity in belief, it comes off solely as “I don’t like the gays.” They can either follow the teaching of Jesus or they can find a different Abrahamic religion to follow that coincides more with their beliefs.
