Agreed. I’m not AHL savvy like some of the posters here, but with everything going on do people think they will even change organizations during the season? I’m not sure what kind of shape NJs AHL team or if either of these players would be contributors. I would also imagine that due to the pro teams close proximity that their AHL squads would also be close.

If anyone like me was wondering about the players NJ got, it looks like they are two AHLers who are 25 and 27.

I appreciate you going through and finds folks appointments closer and sooner, the more people advocating like you for quick and easy vaccines the better. I also agree that it seems like the rollout has gotten better, I have heard the same. I will also acknowledge that being in a place like SC is unique in that the amount of people who want vaccines of all ages is significantly less than a place like NY, which would obviously speed up the process of getting it to all ages. I still think NY could have done better throughout the Covid process. Everything has just been so simple and straightforward here since the beginning. I have not heard the same being said of back home. Regardless, good on you for helping people out. It is appreciate by me and I’m sure those you have helped as well.

I had Covid in the middle/end of January. The VA told me to absolutely get my first shot 3/8 (Pfizer) as enough time had passed. I had a sore arm for a couple days but was fine. I’ve heard the second shot is worse if you’ve had Covid, but I’ve also heard the second shot is worse if you haven’t had Covid either so who knows. My second shot is tomorrow and I’m anticipating feeling run down on Friday.

I spent 18 years in NYS and the entirety of my family is there. I follow NYS politics more than SC politics and haven’t spoken to anyone in NYS that has been overly satisfied about how they handled Covid or the vaccine rollout. I was always under the impression that a hatred of the NYS government was a non-partisan feeling.

I wonder if everyone on the Hurricanes qualified under having smoked more than 100 cigarettes in their life. I know more than one non-smoker in NC that was vaccinated because of that.

SC opened to all 3/31 and nobody that I know that wants one is having any issues getting an appointment the same or next day. Most people I know are getting their vaccines. The government of NYS is, and will always be, a problem for everything. I’ve lived happily under the government in red states and blue states, but never NYS.

I coughed on Sunday and my back went out. Spent all of Sunday on the floor then took Monday and Tuesday off work. Feel pretty good now, still in some discomfort. Really wish I could take the whole week off, feels terrible to sit down still.

Add Bjornfot from the Kings instead of their last first and call it a deal. Don’t care about swapping first. Sign two of Danault, Coleman/Laughton. Don’t just plug Byfield and Turcotte into the lineup. Work them up through the system/roster until they force your hand. Same goes for Cozens and the 1C.

At very least a team should have four divisions of scouting with a full staff--CHL, Europe, College, USA. Hire a head scout for each, let that person hire four scouts and boom now you have a 21 person amateur scouting department.
