No way in hell I want McEichel or Samson throwing em with Lucic, Shaw, or anyonenelse for that matter. The professional agitators will take liberties wo a policeman.

Where would Reinhart have been picked in this year's draft?
3putt replied to SDS's topic in The Aud Club
Reinhart dominated the WJC outperforming Eichel and McDavid, while Strome and Marner did not make the team. NHL Director of Central Scouting Dan Marr acknowledged that Reinhart presents a "throwback" type of style on the ice reminiscent of Hall of Fame members Ron Francis and Adam Oates" If he comes close to either Sabres fans will be thrilled. -

Lindros never generated a cup. While I agree that there may not be a return worthy of trading away a player like McDavid, there are no guarantees.

With our other assets, assuming they are not expended in a trade for a player, what are the chances we can move up and grab Provorov? What would it cost? I am thinking slim chance, but that would be a great haul from this draft, assuming a #2 first pick.

I think we would have been worrying about finishing no worse than 29th. The consternation would have been much less. Reinhart is going to have a fantastic NHL career. -

Still not bad for an expansion team, and they redeemed in 75. What is this google you speak of? He is very knowledgeable.

There is no Toews to bail us out tonight. They smell blood and rightfully so.

I never realized until that shot on MSG that Ennis is taller than Gionta.

That's only because their defense refuses to enter their own zone. Trying to get that sog kicker in the K to kick in.

I can't even be remotely upset. When their opponent is laying down you ###### kick them as hard as you ###### can. At least that's what I do.

There is a good chance the Canes just head to the airport and not come out for the 2nd. Talk about mailing it in.

I accept and nominate Neuvirth's Glove, Dudacek and Claude V

The draft and the cap protect the owners. It keeps the competitive balance and allows poor teams to retool. They should forget this lottery system and go back to drafting in reverse order to where you finish. It wasn't broke, did not need fixing and tanking is not even remotely a problem much less the top priority. Tanking is good, the NHL knows it. No team wants to not have an out for bad personnel decisions.

Pysik if his health issues are temporary. Zadorov will be pushed and hopefully rise to the challenge.

no I'm not. I failed at a word play, but clenching is not a consideration until until the Shart is in hand. Nasty thought I know..

yes really. There are players that have talent and those that don't. Sometimes, actually, most times, IMHO, it takes repetitions for that to come out. Nolan likes the certainty of the known. That is Mitchell will do what is required 80% of the time. Grigorenko, 60%. Give Grigs more reps, meaningful ones and his talent will yield more results, but you have to nurture the talent. Nolan doesn't invest those minutes. He only played Larsson and Grigs regularly, when he had no choice either due to injury or GMTM trading away his mules. The results you see now are not of of Nolans doing, but evolution. To end this incessant chatter, I think Nolan will be back if we do not get Mc Eichel. He is the perfect placeholder. If we do get lucky there will be more interest in the job. Upgrade and move on.
