    Extremely. Naturally fluid skater. Puck mover. Gets shots through. Offensive skill and creativity. A year or 2 away from NHL ready but I would not be displeased if we took him. And I think Provorov will be a star. I wanted to package our entire draft after Jack to try and get him. Probably wouldn't have been enough.

    This is almost laughable if I wasn't so concerned that you actually believe it. Take Eichel away from the team and everyone's production would have gone down. He drew the gameplan of the oppistion night in and out. Nobody game plans to stop ROR. There is no need. Larkin was a winger with Datsyuk and McDavid had Hall and a cast of thousands. Being the guy at center with kane and Moulson didn't help. Especially early year Kane. Some of this system influenced.

    There were expectation that Chychrun would dominate do to his physical maturity. He didn't and has given some scouts pause. They question whether his trajectory is flattening.

    What was the stat I heard that measures offense generated per toi? Wasn't Jack in the top ten in the league?

    But that requires adding Risto and Zadorov to the list, which by extension adds ROR. The Sabres are fine in that regard. I also think the size factor plays in our favor. Jack, Hudson, Bailey, Girgs, Kane, Bigger stronger athletes. Marner will need protection ala pkane. Nylander as well. Different styles of rosters.

    TO went on a good run towards the end of the season and were in jeopardy of losing the carrion title. Bang call up as many Marlies as possible. Fixed. TO has no high ground to defend. My gripe is the idea.that TO needs to be relevant for the league to be healthy. TO has sucked for decades with no ill effects on the league.

    When MLB realized that the west was the future they moved the Dodgers from Brooklyn to LA and the Giants to San Francisco. I think they let the leaves draft Mattews and announce that they are moving to Seattle to balance the conferences. That would be justice.

    I do not fear the leaves, I have lost all respect for the integrity of the league. I no longer believe that it is about the best team wins as opposed to " what team will be best for revenue." The leaves should be roasted for tanking but will be hailed as geniuses. It's .

    I would like to sign Raffi Torres and John Scott to unusual contracts. You play in the A unless its Toronto or Edmonton. If the league suspends you for life your contract pays double its value. If McDavid has a career ending injury it triples. If marner a d matthews suffer the same it quadruples. Then again I like to think outside the box.

    One note about Ekblad. When he played in the top prospects game Orr v Cherry, he still looked exceptional among a collection of exceptional players. I did not get that same impression from Chychrun.

    What a shot by Steve. The Caps are playing like it's the second of a back to back in February. It's the playoffs boys pick it up.

    Sergachev is my preference. I think he has more of a feel for transitional hockey while still being a solid dman in his own zone. And he gets shots through the first line of defense. I would be happy with any of the three, but Sergachev has something that I can't quite put my finger on that I like.

    FA is pretty thin this year. Maybe a trade, but GMTM has said you build through the draft. FAs are added to put you over the top.
