The grade should not be F, but rather EEE. Until the owner publicly states the purpose of the team is to win the Stanley Cup again (and puts money/resources/coaching into it), this team is on efficient, economic, and Empty.

Normally at this point in the season, I'd agree with you. But I think Boston has already lived through their "Nobody believes in us!" post-trade-deadline bump. They still don't have Lindholm or McAvoy. Their lineup is gross (even with Mitts and Joker added). The finality of their season and the reality of golfing in April is setting in with them. Boston's recent outcomes: W2 - L2 - W2 - L5 - W1 - L3 - W2 - L2 and counting.... Sabres 5, Bruins 2

One of these is not like the others. The other issue with the coaching is that for every retread (Nolan/Ruff), there's a Rolston or Krueger or (at least at the NHL level: Granato). I'd also extend the inexperience to the assistants like bringing in Appert with no NHL experience. It all reeks of either nostalgia or cheapness instead of the original stated purpose for existence of winning a Stanley Cup.

That name tourney no longer has any meaning for me.

OP stated post-Tank.

I would think Nadeau and MacArthur both, at least during this Sabres road trip.

With the loan, the trade is officially 1-for-1 McLeod for Savoie. Interesting that with the release of Tullio, the injury to Neuchev, and the trade of Aube-Kubel, the Amerks are now down three potential forwards in the lineup for the playoffs. Kulich will be there though -- barring extending concussion symptoms courtesy of Howden.

He’s top 3 in games played and has not been an average goalie this year. This makes sense. -
Let the hate thread through you.

He's smaller and got pushed off the puck by big Vegas guys all game, but Kozak makes their 4th line better when he centers it.
