Or they fire the coaches.

Will the Sabres start the game by skating fast, throwing at least one body check that gets the bench buzzing, and getting a high-quality save within the Knights’ first few shots? Or will they start skating about 13 minutes into the game and already trailing by 2 where they’ve hung their starter out to dry and look like they haven’t practiced their power play atoll? He's Mancari without the cannon. And Mancari is his ceiling... round out his game a bit more and he can be an AHL mainstay who tops 30 goals once or twice. Adams is just cycling through his callups to get a look at each, but it seems to me they should either elevate Rousek or go find another waiver claim/trade if you're going to be waiting on Quinn/Tuch/Girgs for a month.

If he inspires Girgs/Krebs/Okposo/Greenway to go to the front of the net, or opens up space for VO/Jost/Benson whomever is on the other 3rd-4th line, forces opponents defensemen to make rushed passes knowing his speed and actual body checking are a possibility, and plays sound defensively, he'll be a fixture in the lineup.

It goes back to the offseason... if you believe Levi is the one, why is Comrie even on the roster? No one is going to claim him on waivers. Just ship him out and get the roster flexibility for the forwards/defense so you don't need to worry about 11-7 garbage again.

Maybe his game will rub off on some of new teammates. Maybe VO, Jost, Cozens, Girgs, and Krebs will start crashing the crease because it’s the popular thing to do.
