This team is lazy this year. And that is grounds to go get a tough coach. The talent is there and it’s not putting in the effort.

There’s been injuries and some bad goaltending this season… But would Krueger & staff have a better record with this roster? Housley? Byslma? Rolston? Nolan? Things to ponder.

“Columbus will give up goals” -RR Cool. But you need to stop passing up on shots and consistently turning the puck over because you’re even better at giving up goals than the Jackets are.

Maybe someone in the bottom 6 could go throw a heavy check or two just to get the crowd going.

What happened to the team that tried to score on every shift last season?

Levi has been fantastic lately, but clearly doesn’t have it today, bad decision led to a ref assist, then the goal line carom, then pressing. This is one where you change the goalie now. Wake up the team.

I don’t know that any new announcers are radio announcers. They’re too addicted to their screens and graphics that might go up to worry about basic notes like near side, far side, left to right, etc.

Remember, the Robinson guy who is a JAG, but looks like a really fast forward on the Sabres and who actually throws the occasional body check, couldn’t get ice time with the Jackets.

I assumed he's both medically cleared to play and he wants to play. Let him in. Go out, play, have fun. Don't live in fear of an injury. Anyway, they can always slap some mechanical spider legs on him or just throw him back into a bacta tank.

Yay for Quinn to be back. Logistically speaking: now GMKA can trade Olofsson as was anticipated all summer.

The team is all imprisoned in the most convoluted scheme of rebuilding: poor hockey, injuries, and no puck luck. Enter Quinn: Columbus 10-22 and Buffalo 13-19. It's a matchup of two bad teams. (And just one more win by Ottawa this season (in a complete tailspin and coach-firing) and the matchup of Sabres/Jackets is between the two teams with the lowest points per game/winning % in the conference.)

If you want Benson to be in the Calder-running, just keep him in Skinner's spot, including on PP1. 40 games with TNT and Tuch (provided they regain health) will get Benson into the top-3 in voting.

That certainly looked like the second night of a back-to-back (and 3rd in 4) where the first night you went up against the best team in the league, got knocked around a bunch by a physical crew, but came out victorious and were living care free the next day.

It should not be up to the rookie WHLer to be the person to drive the net and force a scrum. No consistency. This team is an 82-point mess until they learn that in their top 6 (and replace half the bottom 6 with hungry players).
