NO way anyone could’ve guessed that based on your posting history about this very subject.

You would ask this AFTER they added a new team, increasing the workload by 3.2%.

1. Buffalo Swordies - Owen Power. Best player in the draft. As they jettison Ristolainen they realize letting Rasmus Dahlin sit in a talentless pit on defense is not an ideal way for him to blossom into the star he should be. 2. Seattle Sticky Legs - Matty Beniers. They basically drafted like six knockoff Matt Beniers in the expansion draft. This is the real one. 3. Anaheim Webbed Feet - Dylan Guenther. That just sounds like a player that would play for the Anaheim Ducks. 4. New Jersey Word MLB Banned but NHL Didn't - Luke Hughes. Half the state says they're from the City of Brotherly Love so why not pick your star's brother? 5. Columbus Literally Named After the Color of a Coat - William Eklund. The last Swedish Bill they had ended up having better luck in Vegas. 6. Detroit Our Logo Is Iconically Detroit Even Though We Stole it From Montreal - Mason McTavish. "Could McTavish go to Detroit, dad?" "I don't know ... He may, son." 7. San Jose We're Gonna Need a BIgger Boats - Brandt Clarke. Like Wednesday, the D and E are silent. 8. Los Angeles Monarchies are Outdated - Simon Edvinsson. He's taken by a team whose mascot is a Lion going into the Year of the Tiger but is severely hated by Liger. 9. Vancouver Mildly Derogatory Term for a Canadian - Kent Johnson. He's really exciting which is something nobody has said about Vancouver hockey since Canucks Defensemen Michael Del Zotto appeared in Goon. 10. Ottawa Our Original Logo Looks Like Human Centipede in a Blender - Chaz Lucius. Chaz just sounds like a guy from Ottawa that hits pucks and f&#%s.

I had just typed this out when you responded ... Getting a little silly but connecting some dots. Seattle has reportedly been hot after Ryan Strome. So ... Seattle gets: Ryan Strome, Rasmus Ristolainen, #15 overall Rangers get: Jack Eichel, 2021 2nd (BOS) Sabres get: #2 overall, Nils Lundqvist, Pavel Buchnevich, Filip Chytil, Jared McCann Seattle retains some salary on Jack in this deal. Problem with this deal is it’s too complicated for draft day. Seattle would need extensions with Strome and Risto otherwise they risk everything on one year deals. Strome's value should be relatively high if you can get an extension done. His last two seasons pace out at 21-49-70 per 82 games.

https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/video/nhl-teams-looking-acquire-draft-capital-land-jack-eichel/ Apologies if this was posted by Frank Servalli says the Rangers are trying to get a top 10 pick and people around the league believe they're doing so to try to get Eichel. He adds the Ducks are definitely back in the conversation and he wonders if LA is still there.

Oh come on, two nicknames and then you give up? Owen "Clark Kent" Power Clark Kent Johnson Brandt Clarke Kent Dylan "I Ran Out of Superman Nicknames so Gunslinger" Guenther Mason "Better General Manager Than Craig" McTavish Matt "Punch You So Hard You Need Veneers" Beniers Luke "They're Saying His First And/Or Last Name, Not Booing" Hughes Jesper "The Swedish Wall" Wallstedt Simon "Liger Says You ***** Suck" Edvinsson

It does feel that Risto is exactly what more than a handful of teams want and need and his value should be steady compared to some other defensemen on the market. OEL has a brutal contract and seems to want to control his destination using his NMC (or NTC, either way no difference). Seth Jones has narrowed his list significantly.

Liger. I've presented NUMEROUS well-thought out posts about Power's abilities. You know this. His height is a bonus to the rest of his abilities as a player. You know this. You have presented your reasons for not loving Power and they are also very reasonable. But for some reason you constantly go back to the height well when anyone disagrees with you. Also, my point about you specifically mentioned the team having too many LHD to take Power is accurate and contradicts your thoughts on the Sabres taking the best player available.

This is likely an overvaluation of Risto BUT it was mentioned by one of the insiders that the Oilers could be offering up the 19th pick for a defensemen. If that's an offer even straight up I hope that deal is done. Risto for 19 would spin a lot of heads.

I don't know a ton about Bear but he is still just 24 and just played a near full NHL season. Chicago was trying to get him for Duncan Keith.
-
Ah, the issue here was the missing "s." He/you said "Blackhawks player" which led me to believe it was the alleged victim.
-
I don't believe he has any sources. I think it's a random guy saying random *****. You're bound to get a few right. I could do it with ease. So the only NHL player ever traded that compares to Jack is ... Wayne Gretzky?

Yes, the word was well haha good catch

There are numerous possible reactions to impending danger and a possible traumatic event. This is one of them but it is not your call to make what an individual does when cornered into a situation like this. The events described are very unfortunate and we should cast no judgement on the victim at this time.
-
They definitely can. I’m a big proponent of the cap being fake but in the world most teams operate it’s not a great situation for the player or team. If I were Minnesota I’d still do it because you’re not going to contend with what you’ve got anyways and guys like Jack aren’t available often. BUT in reality it isn’t a good fit.
-
Me too. Financially Eichel makes no sense for Minnesota.
-
“We’ve never seen something like this.” ”Yes we have.” ”We will never see something like this again.”
-
“Foolishly.” I wanted him back but he’s a nothing burger.

This is how the league always is. Occasionally the laxatives work and you see a day like we had when Hall and Subban were traded Correct, I’ve posted about it. That does not definitively say whether he did or didn’t play in the playoffs.
-
We acquired ROR … on the morning of the draft. We acquired Robin Lehner … on the morning of the draft. Cory Schneider to the Devils - draft day. Jeff Carter to the Blue Jackets? Late night before the draft. I could do this for a while. There’s some really obvious ones I missed here. It’s becoming clear this is all new to you which is fine so feel free to ask genuine questions.
-
Because the entire Blue Jays team just left town.
-
He didn’t play well in the playoffs. Two goals in his first three games and then one in his final eight and some notably bad defense.
-
He came out as such long ago along with Poyer so I didn’t include them there. A handful of players have gone at the NFLPA and I think this is a pretty solid way to look at that:
