Correct. Four QBs. EJ Manuel, Levi Brown, JP Losman and Trent Edwards. Inexcusable again.
-
Most Bradys are found at the top of the draft. Enough excuses. Get a quarterback.
-
Ennis without a doubt. So many predicted a major breakout. I expected it. I don't know if I even want him on the team anymore.
-
Great QBs change culture. Hell, we'd be talking about the Hartford Patriots possibly if Brady didn't come to the rescue. Absolutely no reason to think they can't? Okay.

Kobe announces he's done after this season http://playerstribu.ne/dearbball

Kirk Cousins decided to show everybody he's a good QB and the Giants aren't good. Also, Rex's lack of accountability is alarming. Always excuses late.

Well, this could take a while. Who do you like Blue?

Jackson says it was a collective decision. Does say Pegula ran the interview process (which is stupid as ######) http://bills.buffalonews.com/2015/01/28/hue-jackson-gives-insight-bills-interview-process-absolutely-kept-jim-schwartz/ Get your hands off, Terry. You have no clue what you're doing. But that doesn't excuse Whaley. He put this team together and it has failed. Regardless of whether you believe they have the personnel that SHOULD be a playoff team... They aren't. That's what matters. Shoulda coulda woulda means nothing.

Sure. Which I addressed above in my saying that I believe Bortles has the ability to be accurate but the number haven't reflected it yet. That was the case for the players I listed above. On the first two sentences: I disagree. We're not locked into one draft position. A good GM will consider the trade up if it needs to be done. On Tyrod: experience may help him slightly, but he needs to make some giant leaps in some areas of his game... And find a magical medical breakthrough that keeps you healthy. On the rest: I agree. It's troubling that they brought in a defensive guy to a team loaded with defensive talent who has had a much worse team.

Eli is a superstar in that he's a lock for the HoF (even I don't think he should be) and has won two SBs. And I don't really care about him throwing after the line of scrimmage. Good QBs have done that. Mistakes will always be made. Completion percentages through two seasons as starters: Peyton Manning: 59.3% Eli Manning: 51.6% Matt Ryan: 59.9% Drew Brees: 59.5% Blake Bortles: 57.8% I normally hate the comparisons of elite QBs to prospects, but it holds water when the player is clearly a competent and capable QB. This morphed from whether or not the Jags would move on from Bortles. There's zero chance of that happen. There's a CHANCE he becomes a superstar QB, but that's pretty irrelevant to the Bills (at least right now).
-
Absolutely not. Because there is ZERO chance of him being cut this week but there's at least a DECENT chance he becomes a superstar. I don't necessarily expect him to become a star, but he's got the potential to be. He will not be moved this offseason. And we've already been over the accuracy. He's inconsistent with it, but there's a chance those numbers go way up as he gets his footing in year three (and he gets a better supporting cast on the o-line). He's not an inaccurate passer in the way EJ Manuel is. Much closer to Eli Manning (who is a superstar QB with two rings) early in his career.
-
If a regime changes they still aren't making the change. He's got the makings of a superstar QB. It's just not happening. I won't move on this point. (No, I'm not saying he will be a superstar. He's 23 and was a top-five draft pick two years ago. There's far too much potential there)
-
I don't think a player's ability to be accurate changes, but I do think completion percentages can change as they get a consistent feel for the NFL and schemes. I think Bortles has the abilities bu the numbers haven't reflected it yet. Matt Ryan and Eli Manning are two examples of guys who saw their completion percentages steadily improved over time (Eli's a bit sporadic but still better now than it was to start). There is absolutely no chance they move on from a 23-year-old QB trending upward that they drafted in the top 5 two years ago.
-
Blake Bortles has shown massive improvements this season. He still makes some boneheaded plays, but there's absolutely zero chance they move on. I also think Gus Bradley is safe. They're being very patient there. The expectation among many is that the Cowboys will draft a QB high. I don't know if it will be in the first round, but I do think I would if I were them. You're rarely in the range to land a high quality QB prospect, so you've got to take advantage of it when you do. Unless your star QB is in his mid-20s. Rex saying a deep safety took Sammy out of the game shows you how much trust they have in Tyrod to make any throw aside from the deep ball.
-
I could see them poaching a good coach that gets cut by a dumb program, though. Maybe Mark Richt? That'd be a dream, but I think he'd take a coordinator job at a big program before the Cuse job, knowing he could get a good job in a year.

Reverse NFL standings: Tennessee Titans (2-9) No QB need Cleveland Browns (2-8) NEED a QB Dallas Cowboys (3-8) May draft future QB (likely to) San Diego Chargers (3-8) No QB need San Francisco 49ers (3-7) NEED a QB Baltimore Ravens (3-7) No QB need Philadelphia Eagles (4-7) NEED a QB Detroit Lions (4-7) No QB need St. Louis Rams (4-7) NEED a QB New Orleans Saints (4-7) May draft future QB Miami Dolphins (4-7) No QB need Jacksonville Jaguars (4-7) No QB need Buffalo Bills (5-6) NEED a QB Chicago Bears (5-6) Could replace Cutler Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-6) No QB need New York Giants (5-6) No QB need Washington (5-6) May replace Cousins, could extend him Oakland Raiders (5-6) No QB need Houston Texans (6-5) NEED a QB New York Jets (6-5) NEED a QB Every team beyond this point is set. I randomly ordered the teams with the same record, but the weakest SOS gets you a higher pick. There's a lot of teams that will be looking, but there are certainly some teams we could target in a trade up. Time to start dropping like a rock.

Bills lose (5-6). Chiefs win (6-5). Raiders win (6-6). Texans win (6-5). Colts win (6-5). Jets win (6-5).

Rex, man... This was a brutally coached game. Three big plays he should've challenged but didn't...
-
Jerry Hughes is a fcking idiot.
-
Darby gives up his first TD of the season... I wonder how his head is feeling after leaving the game earlier this quarter.
-
No, that's me stating my opinion. It is going to be Eichel. That is my opinion. Agree to disagree and move on.
-
RHINO!
-
The ball hit the ground but it was a catch. Looking at it again I'm not so sure. But Mike Carey said it was incomplete so I'm confident that it was indeed complete.
-
I haven't said the race is over. I believe it will be Eichel going forward as I believe it is now. I'm not sticking my fingers in my ears on anything. I believe it will be Eichel. Sorry for disagreeing with you. If Samson outscores and outplays Eichel then it will be Samson, obviously.

Darby with the heavy footsteps heading off the field... Definitely at least a mild concussion there.
