  1. It’s just a joke - they’re mimicking how Isaiah McKenzie smiles.
  2. I actually love this but I’m also cackling at Kyle going with a bit of self-deprecating humor on his.
  3. Emily Kaplan said on ESPN’s new show The Point that an Eichel deal was nearly complete last Thursday but it fell through. She says there are five teams heavily involved.
  4. I believe it was mentioned ESPN+ hockey is only broadcasting at 720p.

  6. Welp, I don’t think we got this one going before the season so let’s just give it a roll now and revisit it later. Give your predictions for the upcoming season. 7. It felt like Josh was just going “here, take this ***** ball.”
  8. They just did it with Mahomes.
  9. They’ve reviewed over 650,000 emails from executives within the Washington organization, including Snyder, according to reports.
  10. Some of the emails are from as recently as three years ago.
  11. Search "Jon Gruden emails." https://www.nytimes.com/2021/10/11/sports/football/what-did-jon-gruden-say.html Also, some very strong points here on why the Gruden news likely came out when it did (open this tweet and read the ones Dan Lust added after):
  12. That's the question! I love watching that kid play. I imagine an extension for him is coming this offseason to keep him on a similar timeline as Josh. Keep the leaders of both sides locked up. The Chiefs defense is a PERFECT example of what happens when you think bringing guys in from other schemes to lead your defense won't work. Frank Clark was thought to be a guy who would put their defense over the top and he's been a complete bust for them.
  13. Man, this is disappointing. You asked for evidence so I gave you a ton and provided a source for further support. I can run you through statistics but middle linebackers don’t really lead through statistics. He’s had 115 tackles in each of his first three seasons and has been in the top 15/20 in that category every single season. Other stats are sparse for every middle linebacker. Forced fumbles? Most last year by a middle linebacker was three but most had zero or one. He had zero. Sacks? Middle linebackers typically aren’t pressuring QBs but he has had 2, 1.5 and 2 in his three full seasons. Give me more to go on. What numbers do you expect to see?
  14. The Bills and Chiefs won the same number of playoff games last year. If winning a Super Bowl is a prerequisite to earning high praise on national tv then why would the NFL ever give prime time games to teams that haven’t? This is basically just macho fan completely neglecting the conversation just to say what everyone else believes in a confrontational form. Yes, everyone wants a Super Bowl. Yes, everyone understands nothing truly matters until then. Yes, we can see that while believing getting recognition and making our national broadcasts more enjoyable for our fanbase is fair.
  15. I know All Star games aren’t a great marker but it’s notable that he’s been to two Pro Bowls in three seasons. He was voted defensive player of the week last week. Every time the Bills play in prime time he is brought up as someone who has a lot of respect and envy throughout the league. The team has voted him captain multiple times. McDermott, who is one of the best defensive minds in the game, turns to him when he credits this defense. When the defense struggled towards the beginning of last year Edmunds was hurt and struggling on the field. When he got healthy and his play improved so too did the overall defensive performance. He’s the lynchpin of one of the league’s best (THE best?) defenses and has been for more than just this season. Just now seeing this article about this very topic from Buscaglia: https://theathletic.com/2875908/2021/10/08/why-cant-tremaine-edmunds-win-over-bills-fans-when-hes-viewed-as-a-special-player-outside-of-buffalo/?amp Frazier was asked directly why Bills fans seem to be the only group that don’t love Edmunds. He said: “I’ve tried to pinpoint that myself because when I talk to all my colleagues around the league, they rave about him. And then here, I know sometimes people wonder. Down in our locker room, out on the field and in our management … everybody knows his value and how important he is to us. But for some reason — I don’t know. I don’t know quite why.” Beane compared the criticism by Bills fans to Josh Allen’s rookie season and Lorenzo Alexander said there aren’t many middle linebackers in the league better than him. Each noted that he is young and took some time to develop and Frazier mentioned it’s partly because they ask him to play roles most middle linebackers don’t (like cover slot receivers).
  16. I’m all for the earning respect storyline but they were doing exactly that by dominating the game last night. He refused to shift the narrative of the Bills as the game went on. The Bills won two games last postseason. They’re in the conversation for best team in the league right now. He failed to do his job.
  17. I’ve already admitted I’ve given this team very little energy or space in my life this preseason but is R2 ACTUALLY going to be 4th line wing?
  18. He was a difference maker his entire sophomore year, was good in almost every situation down the stretch of last season and has been good in every single game this year. But we’ll keep waiting for Sabrespace to catch up.
  19. Have any examples? The Frank Clark roughing on Josh is a popular one but even Chiefs fans have woke up admitting it was the right call. It was the very definition of throwing your body weight onto a quarterback who is already down. He changed his momentum to drive his shoulder into him while he was down. You can hate the rule but you can’t hate that call.
  20. Still can only get backhanded compliments for Tremaine around here. What a shame.
  21. Thankfully the plays the defense makes (or the Chiefs offense doesn’t make) count, too.
  22. Prior to the last like two months leading up to the draft he was considered a lock to be in the top half of the first round. There was a point people thought he’d be a top ten pick. Just felt like a situation where teams talked themselves out of him but Beane did. He could be a star.
  23. I want so much more respect on Tremaine Edmunds’ name. He’s been damn good every single week. Last week he was a star. This week he led a defense without a guy who has played at a DPOY level so far. He was ALL over. Sideline to sideline just in on play. Playing with speed in coverage. I am so excited to see him keep growing and I hope to go he’s in line for the next extension.
