  1. I know you’re stating what YOU want but these packages just don’t exist. A fully healthy Jack who has been playing and playing well gets you that. This Jack gets you … maybe two of those pieces.
  2. A few reports that the Dolphins are nearing a trade for Deshaun Watson
  3. I don’t think Tennessee’s defense came to play. At all. Josh picked them apart. He just missed a few WIDE OPEN plays (meaning plays the defense blew) that likely would’ve finished the game. The only thing they did was handle a run game that’s never been great and isn’t needed to win games (as we saw during the winning streak last year).
  4. It appears Frazier/McDermott/Beane (some combination of the three) are trying hard to limit the usage of Rousseau and Epenesa. Both have flashed star-level talent in a game or two this season, but their usage remains low overall. Epenesa was the star of the preseason and the first few weeks ... and was a healthy scratch last night. I get there's a gameplan element to it, but I thought Rousseau was making plays last night ... yet he had the lowest usage of any of the regular rotational DEs. He had at least two, maybe three plays where he tackled Henry by himself or at least stopped him long enough for others to finish off. Addison, meanwhile, made two nice plays last night BUT also had a couple really bad missed tackles that I don't think Rousseau misses. I think it's time for those training wheels to come off.
  5. That’s a tough way to lose but you go for it there every single time. That’s just not the right play call. Going to sting for a while.
  6. They’ve been playing man all night. Linebackers seem to be sitting back to let things happen underneath but when Tremaine and Milano do it at the same time they’re getting beat. They’ve got to communicate - that was not a good drive for the linebackers.
  7. Yup. So many other plays to be made but that’s the type of drive that could kill this team.
  8. That drive stalled exclusively because of Josh. Had two guys wide open on first down but wanted a kill shot. Selfish play. Make the play to keep the ball moving.
  9. Tremaine has had two plays that gave me a major headache (first drive where he let the TE come to him for a first down and a cutback by Henry where he bit hard) but otherwise he’s been great again. His coverage improvement is the most notable change over the last like 10-12 games.
  10. @nfreeman I’d like to report a post for abusive language. If he turned around he probably picks it off but I think he actually thought the play was either over or not coming his way which is the mistake Sorensen made twice for KC last week.
  11. Because he didn’t stop Sanders from making a play on the ball. That was great defense. The Hyde call wasn’t even close to the same thing.
  12. Blech. Offense needs to start putting it in the end zone. Three field goals is enough. Touchdowns - now!
  13. You suggested that, through karma, they owed multiple injuries.
  14. Let’s not try to put a positive spin on injuries.
  15. There was a discussion among some former coaches which Included Tony Dungy and another Super Bowl winner that I can’t remember and they said halftime adjustments are a myth. You just reinforce the game plan in place and all the film study you did over the last week. Obviously you’re going to stress maybe getting the ball out quicker and getting better pressure but it’s not the adjustment fans have always talked about.
  16. Oh let’s settle down. I’m enjoying his call. Levy is pretty bland, though.
  17. Play calling has been atrocious. I know Daboll is dealing with a tragedy right now but he’s been atrocious.
  18. Again: not saying he would do so to become a UFA. He would do so and return under the same contract.
  19. They’re a team that should’ve been able to contend but they neglected the defense which I think has knocked them a tier or two below contenders.
  20. I’m not sure on the liability front if it’s a decision and surgery done while he’s retired and not actively employed by the team or NHL.
  21. There’s no way he gets traded. Tennessee will be competing for a playoff spot.
  22. If I wasn’t such an a$$hole this is exactly what I’d say.
  23. Yes, so when he unretires he’d absolutely be under contract with the Sabres but I am curious if that’s an avenue. Maybe @Taro Thas some CBA insight there?
