i was thinking whoever has the earliest combination of deaths? but we could definitely do whoever’s characters are ALL dead first. i’m okay with either. it’s three deaths per person so it’ll be 24 characters (actually 27 because i’ll let GA in since he was engaged in the discussion from the start)

you’re in! when i get up tomorrow i’ll randomize draft order then we can start picking. only rule is the character has to be readily identifiable by name so EVERYONE who diligently watches would know who they are.

absolute zero chance. but that may also be because it was clear both would play immediately so they wouldn’t need to worry about the chl development path.

so for the draft we've got: me, freeman, trueblue, mustache of god, jsb, wildcard, dudacek. one more spot available on this train.

this is around where i'm at on it. i have no interest in trading risto for pure futures unless, in a corresponding move, we're trading some futures for a right now piece or two. ideally, i'd like to see risto moved in exchange for a top-six forward but nothing is perfect.

i still have a lot of interest in him. he’s been raved about every single step and has had success, as well. seems to be an incredible man, too.

i day we take the first... eight entrants? that’d give us 24 total names picked. we’re at five right now so we’ve got three more slots (liger, freeman and ga get first dibs on the open slots since they already chimed in).

we should do a death draft this week. everybody in it gets three characters who they believe will die next. the person with the quickest deaths wins.

pete blackburn might be the worst sports analyst i've ever seen. he's bounced around and been fired for being an idiot a couple times but he's a young, good-looking dude with a good following on social media so he made his way to cbs sports. in breaking down the boston-toronto series he just says boston's problem is they aren't having all their lines playing well in a game (that's the most incredibly generic and useless analysis i've ever heard). then he says toronto has been winning because of their depth... then quoted auston matthews stats.

if the jets beat the blues and vgk finishes off san jose we are guaranteed to get st. louis' pick... and there's a decent chance it'd get higher than 19.
