  1. Sunny, 55 degrees, out on the patio with a good Cabernet. Awesome to me.
  2. I think it was Scandella and before that Mike Weber.
  3. When you started with I think we're at the point, I thought this was where we were going:: It's getting to the point where I'm no fun anymore I am sorry Sometimes it hurts so badly I must cry out loud I am lonely I am yours, you are mine, you are what you are
  4. Not sure why, but I found the same thing. I attributed to better having lead in my pencil than ink in my dink.
  5. I like Sam but if we can get a legitimate 2C for him, I'm good with that.
  6. I'd go to the Sabres Stanley Cup parade and then take 3 showers when I got home.
  7. I'm so desperate for the Sabres to win, I'll,,,,,I'll,,,,,,,no F Belichick. Just can't do it.
  8. It's just insane the talent difference from the 99% of really good players to the 1% of great players. Night and day.
  9. That incredible. Great for fans, not so much for TV advertisers.
  10. Yep. Once the Coronavirus found out he was a lawyer, it promptly left his body. Even viruses have ethics.
  11. CLASSIC. I showed my wife this video and she said it sounds just like me about 10 times per game. She says I don't sound mean, just incredulous. You nailed it.
  12. Jeez, North. Just what you want to hear after what you've been through. Stay well, my friend. And thanks for being there if I need help.
  13. Can Beane and McDermott learn hockey in the next couple months?
  14. Yeah, that line works and plays hard regardless of the score. They are seasoned pros. I remember when I was 19 or 23 years old in Jack's case in the workforce and how I was a crappy employee. It took me years to become a professional. Jack has come a long way in maturing. Rasmus is still learning. I'm sure any team he was on in Sweden was a winning team just because of him. This may be his first experience with a losing team. Hopefully, they can overcome this debacle and mature faster. But they are fun as he11 to watch now.
  15. There's your problem. I can't imagine watching this team without it.
  16. I'm not disagreeing. But I watch to see 9 and 26. It would really be an unwatchable team without him in the lineup.
  17. JBOT's name tag at the GM's Conference.
  18. It is a sad state of affairs and the bar is set low. It's not win the Stanley Cup, it's not make the playoffs, it's just try to get more points than the last failed year. Buffalo has to be the most resilient fan base in the world. Every year is, "Yes brother, can I have another."
  19. Punch, you've evolved over the years from, "If you can't beat them in the alley, you can't beat them on the ice." ?
  20. Sign me up, Zamboni. I'm all in!!! I hear the Sabres may be looking for a new GM soon. You have my vote.
  21. That looks really funny. But for those that have played the game, we've all had our "moments" when we get back to the bench and the entire team is laughing at you. And you can't help but laugh at yourself.
  22. Fair enough. I'm guilty of remembering the game played by Schonfeld, Korab, Dudley, Foligno and Gare. Skill and nastiness combined. Today, it's a rare skill set mix. Feel free to "OK Boomer" me. I just can't stand a soft Buffalo Sabres Hockey team. Win or lose.
  23. I'm no "modern" GM, but if Pegula gave me the GM job, I would build a heavy team that was nasty in their character. Teams would hate playing against us. Teams would fear playing against us. Eichel and Dahlin would not get touched without immediate retribution. We may not win every game, but we would be loved and revered in Buffalo. I could watch that team all year long.
  24. Like him or not, RFK is honest in his pressers.
  25. Yep. Pretty soon we'll be able to draft Jack Eichel's son.
