  1. I get it Krupp, but I think Terry would rather go another season with JBOT than to start all over again, which he has no idea on how to do. He'll say patience and continuity is the right course, salary cap is better, RFK deserves another year, good prospects, etc. It buys Terry another year. I just don't think he wants to be bothered with another transition. Is it the right path, who knows. But it's easiest for Terry.
  2. Nope the definition of sanity is doing the same thing over and over, and expecting the same result. Therefore, I am very sane.
  3. You're probably right. Every time I watch the Sabres, I scream, "Jesus Christ, WTF was that?"
  4. Interesting argument. On one hand, players "work" only 82 days a year. On the other hand, they have to be physically ready, which is unlike a "normal" job where you can perform at an adequate level and be competent at less than 100%. But they are paid handsomely to perform in those 82 games so the patience level is 0. But they aren't machines. For me, effort is the determinator. Just give me an honest effort, regardless of result, and I'm OK.
  5. I don't think TP will can JBOT regardless of how the Sabres finish. He'll get at least another year.
  6. Actually, the Sabres are a good lead in for your date. You can say, "Boy, the Sabres really blow. Speaking of blowing.........."
  7. Sadly, I really don't care. Sign him, trade him, let him sit for a year. After 50 years, this is where I'm at.
  8. When we play a physical game, it's entertaining and we're competitive. Unfortunately, playing a physical game is playing out of character for us. I want players that play physically because it is in their character. Is that too much to ask JBOT????
  9. Agreed. I'm starting not to believe the saying that "a blind squirrel finds a nut eventually." We've had blind GMs, and they can't find a nut in a peanut factory.
  10. In my best William Shatner voice: I. Just. Can't. Do. It. The frickin' Sabres will always be my team.
  11. I'm not pissed, I'm apathetic, which is much worse. I don't know what to do with this team.
  12. Apathetic hangover from last nights game. I'll always watch, but my emotional investment is waning. Show me some fight!
