I'll drive him down to Pittsburgh if that's what it takes -

Now who will they pan to 18 times per period during stoppages in play? -
That was my first time at an Amerks game, or any AHL game. The hockey is definitely more hectic and sloppy. The arena is neat but the concourses and bathrooms are unbearably small. Using the restroom isn't fun at Sabres games but it was completely impossible last night. My wife and sister in law left with 3 minutes left in the first period and didn't get back until 5 minutes into the 2nd. Subban was as good as any goalie can be in a 4 goal outing. It was fun to see him again (safely away from important nhl games) Kulich was the only guy that stood out as NHL talent right now, in particular his rushes. On his goal, everyone knew the second he got the puck that he was going to score. That said, aside from a couple rushes I didn't see much from him, but I can't figure out if that's just an AHL hockey thing because he had 3 points. Rosen didn't stick out at all aside from his shot on the goal. Saw him watching scrums he could have engaged with to win the puck. He needs more seasoning which we all know Pilut can be himself at this level, which isn't possible in the NHL. The game is slow enough that he can confidently dictate puck movement and plays while he's out there. Prow and # 3 made a number of good defensive breakups. And yeah, passed a lonely, isolated bus in the pitch black stretch of the 490 between exit 2 and the 90. Must have been a bleak ride. It was for me haha. Gotta drive back up the same road for work in a few mins

Just passed the Marlies bus on the 490, made sure to give a good honk

Both ranch dressing and standard mass produced blue cheese taste like soybean oil with a dash of genuine food or flavor, absolutely disgusting slop

Pure unadulterated cope -
There's somebody named Mason Jobst that might replace Tyson Jost? I think you're just pulling my leg
-
Great to hear. Scratch buying the AHLTV, I realized I work within 15 minutes of the arena. I work on Wednesday. I'm just gonna go lmao
-
Have not been able to watch, but I might have to grab the AHLTV daily pass thing. I like what I'm reading, pretty cool that these guys get to go through a run like this. 2 tries to clinch at home? Awesome. It sounds like this playoff is a game-changer for Rosen. I got the impression he was a guy with skill but not a lot of confidence in his ability to handle the NA game yet. This sort of playoff success should be a huge boon for his confidence, I bet he can see his path now, and is ready to attack it "Just getting in" can lead to great things. Keep it up Roch

This is the best schedule I've ever seen lol Late bye, rest before the chiefs and bengals, normal temperatures in Miami, no holiday games, night games in OP Should be a season to remember
-
I really enjoy the schedule release, and my friends and I have devised a prediction game with a pretty intricate scoring system to see who was the closest. It's more interesting to me than the draft. Sorry, I'm just not interested in sports leagues below the only ones that matter

The Stanley Cup Playoffs 2023: Second Round GDT.

I just watched the highlight of his goal. I don't think it's possible for me to be as jaded about anything as this generous description of his celebration hints he makes you This is true, but again, when all their stars were on ELCs and they were making the playoffs with them, that wasn't true yet That's what I mean about us not even getting to the point where we can say we are different from them yet. We have a lot of work to do to get to the point from which they began to fail -

Florida has beaten the snot out of us too many times recently for me to be enthusiastic about them. they are impressive though for sure -

I find Swamp's assertion that the Knights are boring more true each passing year so I haven't been following that one closely. I don't really want any of the remaining teams to win -

Maybe they just had a long break then, come to think of it they were the first team to advance right? -

I always check SS to see if this is a "lmao eichel blows" night or a "***** you jack" night This is the first of the latter in a while. He must be coming off a drought -
There is some wild information in that article. That is all I will say, to avoid saying something I shouldn't

🥴😫 Reminds me of our favorite 2013 infographic Who's their gm?

Honestly I've seen better prospect highlights from a few guys over the years, not just McDavid. Not convinced I'd take him over Matthews at the same stage of development and maybe even a few other guys in the last 8 or so years
-
Huh? But McDavid has played 8 seasons and never even sniffed that to this point, why is that suddenly going to start now, and how will Chicago get there when their roster and prospect pool outside Bedard are probably both the worst in the NHL? That's not even to mention the franchise which hasn't seen a playoff series since Obama's first term

But hosting playoff games year after year, and even winning one eventually, is the same as being historically bad for record breaking periods of time, according to you. You feel the same throughout both of these processes That is of course fantastically, hilariously wrong -

The cumulative enjoyment of like 8 straight 50 win seasons, that is a lot of nights satisfied compared to us knowing the season was over every single year in November Again, your argument would tell me that the last 3 years of Bills football is no different from the drought, when any sane person weeps while considering the dichotomy By "any sane person" I of course mean "any insane, brain-addled hockey fan posting on message boards a month after their team fled to the Bahamas"
