Tried the poorly named "Amigos" on Kenmore Ave. It's not a Mexican place.....but more fish and meats. With drinks it came to about $25 a head. I think they have their act together. It was a pleasant surprise.

MIdway is pretty early to count anyone out of the playoff conversation. Buffalo was 14-24-3 31 pts midway last year. But being just 4 games better in the first half puts a team in the conversation 18-20-3 39 pts.

Oduya isn't going to light the night on fire offensively, but he will give you 20-25 reliable minutes a night and skates really well, so he could give you 25-30 minutes if called upon. If Bylsma wants a team that clears the zone quickly and safely, he's the guy IMO. He's just a solid worker that you don't much notice out there but can log the minutes. Not a sexy choice. But he'd definitely fit.

Chris Stewart would do one thing, however. He would keep things polite out there with rookies on the ice. But right now I think Defense is a much higher priority.

I think you are underestimating McGinn. McGinn, if healthy again, brings an edgy game. He's not the heavyweight Stewart is, but probably a better two way player. If he's on his game, Buffalo will love him.

True.The crease and we don't have the defense sorted out. Big minutes from Weber and McCabe don't make me hopeful yet.
