All three have nice speed. I could imagine Catenacci as a call-up. But it is hard to see a role for him unless he plays with more of an edge for the third line.

I don't know the answer, but Bylsma has never been known as much of a line juggler in the past. I could see him trying both. They are a really fast line. It really is too early in pre-season for clubs to match lines (especially with Buffalo), but I really think KOE makes more sense on the road, KEE at home.

There is a lot to be excited about with Guhle. He's a hellava skater and athlete with a nice accurate shot. Looking like the steal of the second round. No reason not to play him in every exhibition, but he's not ready for an NHL roster. The experience he's getting now is great.

Just my notes . Lehner looks awfully rusty he's not tracking the puck well at all. I thought McCabe had a pretty rough night with the puck on his stick . Pysyk might have been the best defenseman on the ice. He settles the puck, and is very quiet. He's on the roster IMO. ROR is a center, and plays bigger than he is. Love the control. Finally a center. Samson made every touch count. He makes great decisions with the puck. In time i'd like to see him win more puck battles. I love Gionta That was some ugly hockey at times . My first impression is The leaves are in for a long year . Babcock has a tough job.

No. He's an athlete but there's little chance. The kid is getting lost out there at times .

okay....it can be this one if the goals come. For all I care I could get used to a soundtrack of Julia Childs saying "If there is no cake, it is just a meeting" twelve times after every goal, as long as there are goals.

I think there is every hope he looks good enough to make this roster.

I didn't make it to the game. On the NHL feed I watched once and thought it looked clean. Still shots the next day showed him in the air, but that could have been follow through. Either way, tough hit.

I think government needs to help with the infrastructure, but I'm struggling for an analogy Just like the Pacific Railroad Act 1862 created the infrastructure for business to expand in an industrial economy (transcontinental rail, and telegraph), the government needs to be thinking about the infrastructure to create jobs in the post-industrial knowledge economy.

Not too disappointed with last night. * I thought the young d pairs looked a little lost at times, especially with loose pucks. * Loved the looks that KOE can give on a single shift. That is going to be fun to watch. * Lehner didn't impress, but those goals were not entirely on him either. * Samson was impressive either, he has the right instincts. If he makes the team, he won't light the world on fire. But i don't think he'll be a liability. *EKane's shoulder looks fine. Ask Wideman.
