    I'm not going to try to interpret the subjective meaning of a few sentences from an interview like I know how Grigs feels. He is only 20 years old and has made great strides, if he continues to grow, then he will be up with the team permanently soon rather than later. If he does bad in the ahl, then its on him. This isn't someone who has dominated the AHL and has paid his dues. I personally think he should be up, but its not crazy to see the sabres thought process in giving samson his 9 game tryout first

    A little disappointing that grigorenko didn't make the team, as I thought he earned a spot. But, that is the life of a prospect sometimes you have to become "over-ripe" in the minors. And with that being said, grigorenko hasn't done anything in the AHL and is still with stuff to learn in the AHL. If he gets pissed off and falls apart, then that is 100% on him, not the sabres If Samson goes back to the OHL after 9 games, grigorenko has a good chance of taking his spot. If Reinhart kills it and plays great and keeps his spot, then that's a good spot to be in :)

    I think this is a good way to put it. I got pissed at the watkins no call haha. But I don't think bad calls against the bills have had a huge impact today. Penalties had a huge impact against the bills in the first half (the bills fault), and penalties have helped us a lot in the second half (lions fault)

    Yea. It was pathetic haha Ah, there is the unbelievable boneheaded defensive unnecessary roughness penalty. Look at these penalty stats for the year (this is separate from the ref argument, just how annoyed I am at how undisciplined this team is). I don't know if that is so much worse than the league average or not, but it is an area that can be improved and help the team so much, you can't just give away 100 yards a game 9 - 108 3 - 20 11 - 110 8 - 40 10 - 70 (so far today)

    Yea but the bills do it to themselves. That last noncall where it was clear PI on sammy watkins was BS. But this team has 10 penalties, they can blame themselves.

    It's tough to say. I don't think anyone currently in the AHL will be a long term answer. I don't think lieuwen has the skill, and makarov and Hackett are way too inconsistent. However, it's possible soneobe puts it together. And who knows what we will get from Ullmark, Peterson, and Johannson when they make it to the AHL. But I have more hope for those three prospects than our current three prospects in the minors

    Yea I agree, and that goes for literally any job. There's still a lot of smart cops, but a lot of dumb ones too

    Why are you taking shots at me? I said spiller had a good game, you come out of no where to tell me my opinion is wrong. I say he had 80 sonething yards on 18 carries. You tell me I'm wrong because if you take away his good run his stats suck. That is junk stats btw. Your argument was literally "if you take away certain stats to prove my argument, stats are on my side." I'm a huge stats guy, I'm educated in stats, and did statistics professionally for a short time for research, and also did statistics for a psych department back in undergraduate. So please don't take random shots at me when I'm not even in a conversation, especially when you were the ###### a few nights ago, and especially something not true like stats. If you want to be a complete ###### and talk about the bills, go to TBD. No place for that here
