I think you are having a tough time differentiating your views/substance of your posts, with how you come off (personality wise). It has nothing to do with what you are saying, but you come off as smug and socially-lacking as possible. Just try to change up your attitude (hopefully you just act like this on the internet), because no matter what you are saying, no one will ever care about your opinion if your personality is poor. And if your response is you don't care how you come off, then ask yourself why you are on a discussion forum talking politics with people who want to talk politics back with you. You seem to have good points, but just pointing out why people are replying the way they are with you. I think there is a disconnect/miscommunication, but that happens on the internet haha

Um I think this game is going to bad, not good...... -
or a psychologist (wasting you your time) :P

Yea good answer. I imagine congress could pass a law (I don't think they really have authority, but when has that stopped them). I would think what your asking should be a state's responsiblilty, and your blame would best be directed at them. But fair answer. (I don't agree with some of your thoughts, but you have some good ideas, and appreciate you addressing questions) Thanks for saying that better than I could, and I think if that could be fixed (like you are hinting at, a dream, right?), then things would just be better all around. The amount of money and inefficient spending is jaw-dropping.
-
I think when you cite the constitution and claim the president should have blocked Ebola from entering the nation, asking where that power comes from is a fair question
-
Hopeful I know your a big constitution guy, what power does the president have to "shutdown the conduits by which Ebola entered the country?"
-
I'm agreeing with you, i was just saying that 2% redistributed to education, it would mainly be wasted somehow
-
haha I agree but that would only work out in a dream world unfortunately. Also on a side note, its not even how much money we spend on different departments, its how we spend it. When I went to high school we had around 5 administrators that just walked the hallways collecting nice paychecks. If our government efficiently spent money, things would be so much better (i know this is an oversimplification, but I hope the point is taken) It is the fact that you cannot come off as smug as you do without trying. It's no accident

yup the defender did a poor job, and the goalie didn't look to great either. But I liked grigs being in the right position and using his size and reach to get the puck into the net. It's such a simple play, but you have to admit, some of our nhl players would screw it up
-
He was the hire everyone questioned, they guy should not be calling plays in the NFL. It is only a matter of time win or lose
-
I wouldn't underestimate the importance of positioning and how often that will get you goals on every team

This is what I don't follow. What else was he suppose to do this offseason? He brought in leadership, traded for Gorges, signed one of the top wingers on the market in Moulson. So he was active in free agency, is going to give young players a chance on this roster (reinhart, ristolainen, deslauriers, and soon pysyk). This was a very very bad team entering the offseason. He improved it the best he could in free agency. Was he suppose to trade prospects for 30+ year old vets? A rebuilding, bad team, just doesn't come out of a rebuild in one offseason, it takes time. I agree that if they are intentionally trying to lose, thats a bad thing, as it takes while to rebuild, so you want to start asap. I just don't think this is what is happening, I'm not sure you think that either

I thought there were a few bad calls today that went both ways. Nothing favoring one side or the other
-
Yea the chargers game was a team disaster, and the patriots game was similar (so many mistakes). But that houston game was on Manuel. Any QB that was capable of throwing a ball would have won that game.
-
Yea but Woods is talented :P And I have no idea what happened with the kick off. The kickoff was a head scratcher, as was running dixon up the middle over and over especially when he looked like he was going to pass out, and forgetting that throwing to watkins was working was goofy as well
-
I will not. He made a great catch today. But he should not be a team's #3 receiver. He had a costly fumble, ran a route short on 3rd down, and either him or woods ran the wrong route on a different play. Hogan should be a #5 receiver who plays good special teams, and can play a few snaps on offense and not cost the team. I don't know why he played so many snaps today
-
It had it all, bad offensive line, bad penalties, a vintage chandler drop! But chandler redeemed himself, and watkins continues to be a beast
-
haha I think our wealth of draft picks the last few years would say otherwise. From 2011- 2015 we will have had 9 1st rounders (Armia, Grigorenko, Girgensons, Ristolainen, Zadorov, Reinhart, and our three next year). And we have a had a ton of of second rounders of the last few years as well. I don't think too many teams can compare even with fan-colored glasses
-
yup i'v been a fan of the watkins trade since day 1. I'll take an elite top 3 player of the draft instead of two 10-20th best players any day. Would anyone not trade any two of our mid-first rounders for watkins? (Manuel, Gilmore, Spiller, Maybin, McKelvin, Lynch). Pretty obvious talent gap if you ask me
-
Like I say every week, if the bills could play sound fundamental football (less turnovers and penalties), they could be a good team. Having an off-brand offensive coordinator hurts too.
-
I don't expect any vet to do that, as you are getting mugged and sacked, to try and make a throw....joke of a play
-
Orton with a fumble you never expect a vet to make....take the two yard sack
