Yes he's been someone fun to root for and I get why a lot of fans love him. But I also think he's overrated. He was a good classy RB. But he has gotten old and lost a step, I was hoping for him to get cut

I was a Freddy fan, but he has clearly lost a big step over the last year. That's all He's been unexpectedly very solid his career. But he was never great or a gamechanger.

I'm not a big Freddy fan and I would rather have Williams as the backup than Freddy.

If cassel starts the I am really gonna question what type of coaching staff we have. At this point my gut says its Taylor

I don't know who I prefer, but I'm excited for either. Happy to have them both and hopefully one develops into a good QB

I guess it makes sense if you think EJ has no potential and this is a flash in the pan, but I think we can agree the GM doesn't think so. So imo it makes no sense if you think he has potential, makes sense if you don't.

I don't really follow. Isn't a QB with potential more valuable? Why not have depth with potential at our weakest position. And the most important position. Besides that, going into the season with Taylor and cassel would be one injury away from LOL. A 4th rounder doesn't have more value than depth with potential at QB. That should be something every organization tries to acquire.

Can anyone explain me the rational behind wanting to trade EJ? If he has the potential to be a good QB then he is exactly what we need, even on the bench...
